I know he is not an FB but how much should a person pay attention to blocking? I am currently working on a power RB but it would be nice to know he is not a total dud on blitz pickup. So how much do you guys worry about blocking?

Not as much as I should. I noticed the HBs go out for passes more than stay in against the blitz. Catching is more important, IMO.

It kinda depends what type of player you want to be.
If you want to be a guy all about stats, forget about blocking and focus on the important HB attributes.
If you want to do your best to help your team win, you should train your blocking every once in a while.

20 sounds fair, 15 if you wanna train something else more glamorous.

Bingo! You'd do a lot more for your team working on catching than blocking. It seems like HB's in this game almost always go out into the flats during pass plays, and I've bailed my QB out a lot by being able to catch his 2 yard dump pass under pressure and turn it into a nice gain.

How much does your FB run the ball? If it's like 10x a game, then I say blocking isn't a half bad thing to train on. Power HBs can be good lead blockers.
