I would rather win now that build a dot to hopefully win a year and a half from now. Who knows what changes will come about by then that could mean the build youve been working on for that long is now wrong.

a lot of people do this and have fun in GLB doing it, we want to play at the higher tier and be competitive thats where the game is fun for us. to each his own.

That is cool and all but you guys seem to be in a lot of forums proclaiming that you will be something special in a couple of seasons and then using that as an excuse for losing now.

I don't lose games now because I am building for the future. I lose because either my opponent out gameplanned me or I made a mistake in my AI which cost me the game. Excuses are really lol, no matter what level you are at.

Either your dots are good and they can win at any level or they aren't and they can't. Since your team is two guys who own all the players and do all the coordinating you have the edge of knowing all the tactics you set will be followed. Even when you are dealing with somewhat one dimensional dots that are being built for the future you can put in plays that work for their strengths.

Guys who haven't had success as coordinators at the Pro/WL level proclaiming themselves as the next wave of the future are almost always setting themselves up for massive failure.
