I'm sick of these guys raping the leagues every year over and over.....

Clearly they are far superior lets move on now!

I'd say it's Tapouts turn to move on. They are looking good.

What amazes me about carumba is he smashes teams with no scouting. Flump and Trout both have very good defensive schemes and the builds to support it. Its hard to beat teams like theirs. I'll have a human roster next season so hopefully I can get SM back in the top 5. I got a love hate relationship with all 3 ( love to play them because you know you'll learn something new but hate them because they are so good ) so I would hate to see either team leave. If I had to choose, Tapout by a slim margin IF he scouts during the playoffs.

All of this said WITHOUT giving up anything I learned from scouting your teams that wasn't obvious so hopefully I haven't made any enemies.

looks like tapout has custom equip on almost everyone this season, from what I saw bass just has it on a couple guys and I dont have any like usual. that said with the improved passing game instead of slamball anyone could get a couple breaks and bust out some long scores on missed CB tackles

I lost a couple of family members last season plus I had 12 inactives last season. It took so much out of me I couldn't focus. So I wanted to take a season to get my head together. Its tough hiding 12 players with no EQ sps or tactics in place. Plus I took a major morale hit when I had to cut 5 players. All of this while mourning the loss of 2 loved ones.

Sorry to hear about that. My condolences to you and your family.

hrmm, not sure why you would say I don't scout.(How would you be able to know?) This year I have been a tad lazy because there aren't as many teams with full rosters . Against real teams I normally scout the hell out of it....and make changes where needed.

I have the temp EQ on a couple of players from each position. Lineman I have 5 of 10 with EQ.

when i looked at your team one thing that stood out was you were running the same group of plays in the same situations game after game. i think we've played like 6 times so i know you put in work. i was kind of beating around the bush at the fact that there aren't any in game bonuses in the playoffs * not to include boosting * so scouting even your own team could easily be the difference between advancing to the next round or finishing up the season playing scrims.

Not to get too specific, (or divulge my strategy !) I do only run a base offense of specific plays. For each game the only thing that changes are the percentages of each play called....and the percentages of which side that play is going to ....or changing the favorite receiver. I treat this like I do coaching real football. The regular season is basically an exhibition season. So you don't have to show your hand so to speak until the playoffs. Since there is no homefield advantage I don't care if I am first or eighth.....just get into the tournament, and then it is game on ! ...and honestly, I am always open to suggestions. I talk to different owners after they get promoted or change leagues. You're right, self scouting is good !

Once the playoffs start if an agent buys the + 5 temporary game bonuses using bonus tokens the bonus will not carry over into the game as it would during the regular season. Also though both custom and regular EQ will appear on your players no differently than it did during the regular season you won't get the plus 8 or plus 14 for playoff games. Which is why experienced agents wait until the playoffs to boost. The plus 5 to 20 skill points depending on how many levels you choose to boost make up the difference in the EQ gains lost in primary attributes. This makes hitting caps in primaries without EQ major.

Where did you read that there are no EQ bonuses for playoffs?
