-1, LionsLover hit the nail on the head.

All this is going to do is make it HARDER for worse teams to get good coaches... there is also the potential that agents will start demanding coaching positions to join a team.

But if you are a true coach than you should like a challenge and want to make a team better. Which would ultimately make your coaching record better.

no way to really do that---it has been suggested before. Too many OC/DC without it being in the title. Some OC and it is their title, but also DC. No way to give the real story.

Sometimes I like to help struggling or new teams, and I worry that something like this would make people less inclined to do so unless they can opt-out of having those stats count, which would kind of defeat the whole point.

If they install this they could not count blowout stats and only count games that the two team's are closely matched in, or something like that. Im sure they can find a way to make this workout. That's why i would like people to expand on my idea.

I like it except I don't like the privacy option. Teams seeking true Coordinators should have the 'Right' to differentiate between the LOL's and the real thing. jmo.

If there was a way to include people who OC or DC but its not there title, that would be cool. Owners who coordinate have no way of giving themselves any other title than owner

I Like The Idea,
However To Mny Holes.

Owner see That his AI has not Changed for an upcoming opponent.
Therefore, Owner makes adjustments.. Cord, gets the stats!

This would have to be set up by GLB, That registers, with whom set the AI up last, and made the majority of the adjustments. This way, Lazy Cordinater don't get the credit.

Yet for the GREAT Cords that are out there, They should get some kind of credit for all the work they do!

I know several people who coach teams of friends teams' who are in total shambles, with nothing to help them out. 0-16 or 2-14 will not add to their coaching %age, even if it's just to try and help someone out. Or someone who OC/DCs a team, and they don't comply with his tactics, and end up losing games. Back in season 4 or 5 I took the team with the longest losing streak in GLB (60+) and helped them turn things around, but it took a whole season to convince the owner his players sucked, they were way underleveled and he needed to start over. I know not many people help out the needy, but to those that do it will make them seem like a worse coach than they are.

I think the kind of person who is willing to help out a bad team in the first place isn't the kind of person who's suddenly going to start trying to stroke their e-peen (so to speak) as soon as the wins and losses are tracked.

Would you two be less likely to take those jobs just because your record would look bad?

Same as above, but I tend to find that finding people to coordinate, especially at the lower levels, is pretty difficult in the first place. I do the coordinating for my own team, partly because I know I know what I'm doing and am perfectly happy to do it, but the team I OC, I took the job originally because I had signed some players there and we couldn't find an OC.

yea i agree with you. And maybe they can set it up so that you get the stats of being a DC if you can control the defensive al, same thing with the OC.

Have owner put who is running offense/defense for each game or even season in case the Head Coach/Owner/Co Owner/any one but OC/DC is running it so they will know who was responsible.
