Was thinking of building unting until the low 80's on points while training strength and Confidence up to 50. -When there move to vision, as far as SAs... I'm completely lost.

Any thoughts/ideas?

Keep in mind this is my first go here at GLB, I'm just getting to feel my way around...

not sure how you went this long without any answers, man. all of us are fired!

you are off to the right start. keep pumping punting; I like to take it to the +8, which is what you are planning on. i also prefer confidence over strength. i like taking the second attribute to the +6, confidence in my case, strength in yours. i take it you are training them both, confidence and strength, right now? either way, you have a boomer so strength would likely be the third attribute anyways. get them to the +6. after that, vision to the +5 or +4.

then it really doesn't matter. agility, speed, jumping.... no big deal

SA's are relatively easy. You will have plenty of BT's to get an AE for each of them. That is what I like to do. Or get two in BB and one other SA.

VA's: Nail in the Coffin, Swagger, Clutch, Soccer Star, Leg of Steel

I'd take punting to 81 or 84 personally. If he's a booster at least.

I am boosting so I guess I'll shoot for mid 80's.

I wanted to ask, by the way, if Punting helps distance and accuracy wouldn't it make sense to invest even more in punting and take it all the way to the 90's-100's naturally and then let it grow through leveling + AE or is the return not worth it once you go past 84?

If you start going past the +8, you will be neglecting the rest of your build. There is no such thing as too much punting but it gets very expensive when you start talking about spending SP past that point.

Besides, it will get to the 100's naturally if you get it up there right away.

So then the plan would be to move to building confidence to the +6, then Strength tp +6 then I guess I'll go for vision.

I keep getting the itches of just continuing to pump points on punt but I can see now what you guys were talking about when you said it gets expensive. so far so good, I think...

I'm not convinced con needs to be that high. Regardless of what you do, both con and str should be first capped before either is pushed higher.

My apologies if this is a stupid question but I have this punter now at level 23 yet it says that my effective level is 22.

Does that mean that I goofed up somewhere?

If you're within a level, you're still fine. I have a level 28 punter (and I've played this game since season one) but at the moment he's effective level is 28. It's just because of the way I'm building him. When his stats become more rounded and not just all of the points in Punting and Strength like it is now, that will improve.

Question, what and how are you training at the moment? What are you feeding Skill Points into also currently?

Do you have any plan for what you're doing with the bonus tokens?

Have you bought any advanced Equipment yet?

Did you put skill points already into Calm Nerves and Hang Time or is that Advanced Equipment?

Thanks magic,

So far all points have gone to punting.

BTs have gone to either enhance training or get multi-training unlocked (St & Con)

All training has gone to con & Str. (Multi train)

I have bought 1 piece of aeq. but I haven't had the BTS to add the punting bonuses so I haven't equiped it yet.

both nerves and time I used a points, I goofed up one day with left over points (oh well, live and learn)

I was planning on using BTs mainly for AEq.

instead choosing to continue to train strength/con and dump more points into punting?

Training between 38 and the first cap is wasteful for majors. You should have had both attr capped at level 21.

Effective Level is an indication of build efficiency. It's usually not efficient to train attributes between 38 and 48 (not always true, but def true in this case).
