Is this a typo? This seems wrong:

A: Your team would be placed in the 221-280 day league and all of the 200 day old players would be released from your team. It's important that teams make the necessary preparations now in order to avoid situations like this from occurring.

Why wouldn't such a team be placed in the 181-240 day league? All of their players fit into that range.

I have a team that will have 44 240 day old players and 10 200 day old players. Please tell me we aren't going to get put in a 221-280 day league and have to cut the 200 day old players.

Team placement is on day 42 - perhaps the assumption is that the 240 is current/day 41 age.

If so, then those 240s become 241 and hit the "Must have player 241 days or older" rule for Local Pro.

Basically, if these guys are 240 or less on day 42, you'll be in the 181-240.
If even one guy hits 241 or higher, you go to 221-280

Players don't age between Day 41 and 42, so if they are 240 days old on Day 41, they will still be 240 days old on Day 42.

I guess the obvious question here is why will there be a min age requirement?
If their oldest player is 240 days old and they want to keep their 200 day old players let them.
Based on performace they should end up in the normal leagues and not mess up the elite or competetive.
Trying to dictate how everyone runs their team which they paid flex to own is really killing this game.

I think they were trying to illustrate the cutting of players below the cap. If you read it as 20 - 241 day old players instead of 240, then it makes more sense. There were several errors of logic in the original post most of which have been cleaned up. Looks like you found another.

I think this update is stupid. it will put non boosters at even more of a disadvantage. I'm a booster, but still think it wont be as fun.

breaking up teams that are together and want to stay together and cutting players from rosters against the will of the owner and the players is real good customer service.

That's my best guess/hope, but I won't feel safe about it without confirmation to that effect, or see a correction in an announcement.

This is freaking outrageous.

Who suggested this?

I wanna see where in the suggestion forums someone suggested this, got it moved to Epic, was voted for, and was implemented.

This is sum BBBUULLLL...
We have to wait seasons for the important fixes to come, and then 100% Unneccessary and Counter productive ideas get implemented almost instantly...

Not every change that is made to the game comes from the Suggestions forum. When we determine something is in the best interest of the game, we do it.

Also, this was announced more than two months before it would be taking effect, I'm not sure I'd call that "almost instantly".

Yea, was a logic error in the question. I revised it to make the 240 day old players 280 days old. Thanks Trev.
