Can an admin please explain to me why a player created on Day 40 ages 1 day more then a Day 41 created player even though no XP is given?
And why penalize those players by making them play in a higher aged League against 40 day older players. How is that fair competition?

Probably because you should have waited another day if it mattered that much to you.
Retire and start over....only this time do it right.

Asked and answered in the admin answers to age based leagues.

I gave you the translation because you seem to be having trouble with your reading comprehension.

Because Bort's coding equates a player built on day 40 of let's say, season 9, to be a season 9 player, and someone built on day 41 to be a season 10 player

it is why I went to day 41 only because even though you are using logic that if a player does not get XP they don't age (until they hit the plateau), Bort still has not accounted for this

day 41 - it's the "safe" way to do things

should of waited till day 41 to create. But i do see the arguement for them being the same age.

I'm trying to figure this out still, but from what I see, my player was built on day 40. He will be 81 days old the 1st day of the next season but only 80 days old when the team gets placed on day 42 of this season. So I don't see the problem. My player won't be in a league with guys 40 days older if what I said is correct.

I would have no problem retiring and restarting but I've already boosted and bought custom eq. They need to make some sort of exception for players created day 40 of season 18 who just found out they're getting shafted.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GLB offer the kind of flex return you did when implementing archetypes.

After four seasons, my team's co-owner and I demoted and made a new roster where we created all the players for season 18. All my starters had CE. Then GLB announced age-based leagues, so we started over again for season 19, creating all the players on day 40. All the starters have CE.

Now we're told those day 40 players will be considered one season older than their Day 41 friends.

I don't have it in me to start over for a third time, not to mention the loss (again) of 30% of flex spent to outfit my guys with CE (again)--something like 4000+ flex points.

Had we been told the cut off would be day 41, we would have made the roster day 41. No big deal to us then, but now its huge.

Please fix this or offer 100% flex return just like you did last time you had major changes.

I don't get why everyone is so fired up about this day 40 vs 41 issue. A dot created on day 40 of season 16 will be 120 days old on day 42 for the team shuffle. I dot created on day 41 of season 16 will 119 days old. Both will go to the same league:

League - University - Min Age 61 days - Max Age 120 days - Must have player 81 days or older to be placed in this league.

The only change I see now with the new announcement is that you will not be able to get a newly created day 40 dot into the bottom league - Fundamental - Min and Max Age = 0 days

If a day 41 dot is 39 days old after the first season, are you saying a day 40 dot is 41 days old? That seems retarded, so I'd bet not. If so, he's not "Wrong."

This.
Day 40 dot: 41 days old.
Day 41 dot: 40 days old.

For a user base that pretends to be good at math, there's a heck of a lot of math fail running about.

My Day 40 dots were 0 days old in the offseason. They are now 18 days old on Day 18. Since the aging doesn't occur after day 40, how would that equal 41 days after day 40?
