Harder than it sounds, when you really think about it. Consider the following scenario:

I am at 97% strength, I have it set to train until at 99% (or higher).
Next day rolls around, it trains and gives me +10%. Now I am at 7%.
7 is less than 99, auto training keeps going.

How to handle this exactly?

Just extend the menu so it goes as high as BTs can go, 255 or whatever it is. There's nothing wrong with the BT method mentioned earlier, unless your player has more than 100 BTs saved up, which is sometimes the case for younger dots.

add a second drop down for decimals/percents. Right now I can set it as "train speed to 55." After the 55 add a second box that is defaulted to 0 but goes to 99. I would select 55 in the first box and 85 in the second box. Once training gets to 55.85 (or 55 & 85%) or greater it stops.

and the BT method is not what I want to see here. I dont want to sit there calculating trainings out

Not saying you shouldnt fix it, just saying the decimal/percent method i detailed in my prior post makes it easier for us.

I like Ubasstards idea.

If that wouldn't work, I would think they keep training until they get exactly 99%. But people should practically never be setting 99%.

I like the idea, it does make training easier, but I think one of the biggest points of the training program (at least IMO, which may not mean much, lol) is it helps to keep agents active. However, If you have a lot of players, this would change come in handy. Most people who go inactive simply do not care about the game any more, or have had something bad happen and can no longer be here with us on GLB. Either way the training program is not going to help keep those people active. IMO the pros outweigh the cons on this one, so i am all for it.

Set Goal:

50 Strength 99%

If you are at 50 Strength 97%, you train.. you haven't met your goal yet.... then you'll be at 51 Strength... and some odd percent, and you stop training because its higher than 50 99%.

Keep training till you meet the goal, or go over... seems simple enough to me.

just be able to set it to between two %s. So if put 90-99%...It have the system auto be able to tell whether to train on intense, normal, or light when it gets close. Say its @ 89% and you have it set to 90-99%. Have it be able to know not to train on normal or intense cause it will roll it over. So it will train on light for you.

Well, I haven't read this entire thread, but how about instead of percentage, you simply had an additional option of "Do Not Attain". For example if you set it to train Stamina to "Not Attain" 44, It would train it to as high in 43 as it can with out reaching it. You could make it automatically drop to a lower training if necessary, from Intense to light for example (whatever would fit), so that it will get as close to the target as possible without reaching it!

If this was done, it would greatly simply training for agents who have large amounts of players!

Edit I did change the wording from "Don Not go Over" to "Do Not Attain". However you want to word it is fine,. Just so that it means that it will train as high as possible without reaching the target point!
