Head Fake %? I don't believe there is any such thing as Head Fake % AEQ - there is Head Fake SA AEQ. % fake can improve your ability to Head Fake, so there is a correlation in that regard.

The Age league in Season 20, how is this going to effect teams that don't boost every season?

No way of knowing for certain until we see it in place for a while. Our vision is that the non boosting teams will naturally move together at the lowest tiers of each age group.

Yes. While the PF was a good idea in the first place, the activity level has dropped down to the point where it no longer makes sense to run it. As such, I'm going to try and do this on a weekly basis as I can set aside a block of time to answer questions for people and it's a more efficient use of my time. Also it makes it easier for other Admins to check out the questions being asked and provide answers.

I've answered all the questions that I could. There are a few I will have to seek clarification from Bort on. I will post those when he has answered them.

ie - would a CB get the Catch bonus from Mr. Reliable while playing on defense?

Bort -- Generally not. Usually the player has to be doing something related to what the VA covers, or be playing at a specific position.

Could their be a flag on each player's page if they qualify that shows their HOF ranking, like the Fame numbers, instead of searching through each list page by page to find your player...

Bort -- HOF is based on a modified version of the MVP formula, with heigher weight given to stats earned in higher leagues.

Check your player's award page to see his HOF rankings.

Bort -- Most of the time, but not always. Interceptions or drops or things like that can end up overriding the text that would displayed otherwise.

Basically I am looking for anatomy post-catch

IE:

Receiver passes make catch roll (not secure.. can still be knocked loose)
Defender knocked loose roll vs receiver anti-KL roll (have to assume this can happen after x amount of ticks following receiver passing make catch roll)

Once x amount of ticks for KL roll to take place...
Defender tackle roll vs receiver break tackle roll until the play is over (tackle, turnover, score, out of bounce, etc)

Also interested in whether the anti-KL roll is the same roll as the break tackle roll or if it is different (should be different but...)

Bort -- KL is basically a special version of fumble/anti-fumble in the few moments after catching the ball. The "anatomy" for fumbles applies.

Does a players height affect his arm length? For example, does a 6'5" OL have longer arms than a 6'2" OL? If so, does this affect in any way the blocking rolls or are dots armless?

(I ask because if ht doesn't give blockers longer reach, there is no reason to ever choose anything other than a min height OL).

Bort -- Height gives a player more leverage, giving him a bonus to pushing the other guy down. Being short helps keep from being pushed down, due to a lower center of gravity. Height doesn't increase blocking radius.

SV is useful for a player playing CB or safety because you get 2 rolls to nullify the fake. Does SV give a player 2 rolls to: read a play(run vs pass), recognize the snap (get off the line sooner), see a running lane (as a rb), etc etc

Would SV ever come in to use normally as a Offensive player or D-line Player?

Bort -- No, only special cases, like avoiding fakes or reacting to plays. It's not a replacement for the vision attribute.

Are the effects of speed and strength programmed differently from other attributes as far as their impact? What I am getting at is it seems there are never ending benefits to more str or more speed so we pump it to 150. I don't think anyone believes that pumping blocking to 150 or tackle to 150 would have the same impact.

Is this because most of the other attributes are for head to head rolls where once you get past a certain point, you're odds of winning your roll go up only slightly with higher values whereas speed and strength (and maybe theoretically jump???) are more about individual actions so there is no limit to how well you can do them?

Finally, if I am somewhat on the right path on this, is there any plan to adjust this so that a 150 block 100 str would be similarly effective to a 150 str 100 block OL (though one may be better at handling speed rushers vs bull rushers) to encourage more rock/scissor/paper build diversity?

Would be great to see that a 130 vis CB would be more of a playmaker than a 90 vis CB (but slower since he has to cut back speed to achieve it) or a 100 spd 130 catch WR would be a better possession WR than a 130 speed 100 catch WR and though he wouldn't be able to get open deep he could work the short game to pick up 3rd and 6 consistently.

Bort -- No, not really. Speed is sort of a special beast in that it directly controls how fast you move and not much else, but strength is a component of many rolls and comparisons between players, just like any other attribute. I think strength is just more of an all-around attribute useful in many situations, so people push it really high, which ends up making it into an arms race, pushing it even higher. You could get 150 agility and roll off blocks easier instead, or 150 blocking and hold them longer, etc.
