I have a player that just got screwed today because of this problem and I even coordinated the whole transition with the team owner through PMs to prevent this from happening, AND IT STILL DID!!!

I had a player on a CPU team which is on the same schedule with the owner's team, as far games being played on the same day. I waited until after the CPU team played the 8th game (on Sunday), after the game I accepted the owner's contract offer so my player could join the new team in time to play the 9th game (on Tuesday), and my player still was NOT ALLOWED TO BE ADDED TO THE DEPTH CHART IN TIME! So now, my player will play 15 games instead of 16 and has lost out on experience.

I agree, this is a problem that needs to be addressed. I experienced a close call with one of my players as well.

I had a player on a CPU team and accepted a contract offer from an owner of a team which played games on the same day as the CPU team. There was plenty of time (nearly 48 hours) from when I accepted the offer, and the owner was trying over and over again to add my player to the depth chart. With only 2 hours to spare until the sim, the owner was finally able to do it.

In my case I was lucky, yet I can see how this issue can hurt the player and the owner of a team as well. Especially in cases where an owner releases an inactive or CPU player, after signing a new player at the same position and is counting on having that player for the next game.

Notice how not a single person who has voted no, or posted a "-1" has given any valid reason why this shouldn't be fixed. This is a ridiculous problem that not only needs to be fixed, it should be one of the top 5 issues "Under Consideration/In Progress".

If they are going to allow this continue then they should also make injuries part of the game. If they did that, I'm sure alot of the people that voted nay on this would change their vote.

Plus, you know the only people that voted no on this, are owners/GMs who have stocked the teams they own with their players. They will never have to deal with an issue like this, because they have no intentions of trading or releasing the players they have from the teams which they own.

Look no further than Stoner DTD for proof. Every single player the agent has, are on teams where the agent is also a GM. The only thing Stoner DTD can do, is post a sarcastic smiley directed at other agents who have had been screwed. What a loser.

+1 again..This has cost a few of my own players before, not sure why it has not been fixed.

a rule exists which prevents players from playing on back to back days.

So, if a player changes teams in mid-season, he currently runs the risk of losing a game's worth of XP.
