I wasn't surprised that I lost to the Hitmen as they are run by DirtyMike, who is not only a Gold owner, but his Gold team is in the Gold championship game. I got busy yesterday and never prep'ed for this game, so hit him with the same offense and defense I have used almost all season. I guess that shows the lack of talent in the East this season.

I guess FFA just needs to learn how to play some dot-ball...

Ignorance is bliss, isn't it?

This isn't real life were Pee-Wee is a bunch of kids running around with no clue what they are doing. Pee-Wee is still full blown dot-ball just like the upper leagues, only with less developed players, so things move slower.

A good coach can come from any level. I am known as one of the better Pee-Wee defensive coaches, so wanted to try my hand at a higher level team. No upper level teams would let me DC, but I found a level 30 competitive minors team run by another Pee-Wee Gold coach who let me DC on his team. Guess what, 16-0 and we won the championship, and the team had the #1 ranked defense since Week #5.

Let me put it another way, you need at least Pro League talent if not World League talent to be successful at the Gold level of Pee-Wee. Yes, it's that competitive.

So before anyone else is ignorant enough to say LOL-Pee-Wee, why don't you give Pee-Wee a REAL try and try to make it to Gold. Hell, why don't all of FFA band together and create ONE serious Pee-Wee team and use your combined talent to try to make it to Gold. I guarantee it's not the cake walk you think it is.

You do know that a higher league coordinator could hang around peewee for a season or two and then completely demolish you, right? It's just that no one gives a shit enough to do that because it's the peewees.

Actually, no, I don't think that will happen at all. The competition in Pee-Wee Gold is too high to presume that. A top end higher league coordinator would not find it nearly as easy as they thought taking a team to Gold and dominating Gold, and I just don't think it would happen. In fact I would bet RL money on it.

Problem is I hear the same excuse every time, that no one wants to take the time to try because it's "beneath" them. Well it takes a lot less time than people think. Unless you can snag a CPU Silver team, any new Pee-Wee team will be in Copper. So your first season will be a joke as there are very few competitive Copper teams out there. This first season could be this coach's time to get used to how things run in Pee-Wee. The 2nd season is when things heat up. If you are right, then this coach should have no trouble winning their Silver championship and make it to Gold. I bet it takes them several seasons to get to Gold, pending they ever do. Then once in Gold, can they have a winning season? I say no to most!

I am not saying all high end coaches would fail, but I bet most of them would and that only a small percentage would actually win Silver on their first attempt and then do very well in Gold for at least a couple seasons.

Pee-Wee Gold is putting together a team made up of the best Pee-Wee Gold coaches that we plan on ranking up through the levels. Sadly, it will take us 6-8 seasons before we get to the upper level leagues where we can prove ourselves, but we are going to try. Not seeing a lot of upper league coaches giving it a serious try down here.

Well from someone that has coordinated in both pro and PW league, I'll have to say upper leagues are more build
oriented and a lot easier to field a competitive team if you have the cash and the ability to withstand long seasons of
boredom.

You get all excited about the WL but when you see the sim, it's fast alright but too fast that it looks like Tecmo Bowl
than real football. I'm sure the ultima online fan would find this amusing with receivers flying like witches and QBs
casting magics.

This is one of those random "upper league" games, now that's a good laugh lol So we are waiting
a full year for this crap and 75x75 gif? I'll pass.

As far as "higher league coordinators" trying out PW, it has already been done and with miserable results.

This is the recent one. One of the legendary upper league team, went full boost/CE, Ouch

On the other hand the last time I tried DCing pro league was back when I first started this game with zero experience and was actually a complete newb but our team finished top 3 in all defensive statistical category.

Conclusively, I don't have anything against upper leagues and I personally think it's different like apples and oranges but
it's certainly not a coordinators league. I had access to AI of one of the triple A team that eventually made it to WL but
they ran a basic cover 2 defense and the owner told me himself that they win because of the builds, cheers!
