Nope....values are calculated with stored SPs, and EQ has nothing to do with those numbers.

I dont believe that as I have seen those scripts are so off before and some not updated right.Besides its only pre season and things are still being tweaked players,EQ etc.I noticed we have some owls in here also.

I just know for sure... I assigned the SPs of one my STers and guess what? His value didn't change....

All the script does is look at your team roster page and get a handful of information. Avg. Player Value is not calculated by that script. It is something that Bort created and that script just reads the value. Go ahead and assign some SPs and add EQ to your players. If you don't train any of them during the test, the Avg. Player Value will not change.

Summary: The East seems to have the more competitive of the two conferences, but the top teams in the West seem to have a bit of an edge in effective level.

They don't.

Effective Player level changes as skill points are gained, and applied "correctly". Your teams effective
player level will diminish, if your players aren't putting the points into attributes that drive up their individual player
effective levels.

It really is a good measure of how a team is constructed. If you have a lot of players that waste points early in secondary
skills, your effective player level takes a nose dive. It also varies slightly by archetype, with the same bias shown to lol-bars,
ie, power RB's get nowhere near the love that Elusive backs do.

Take a look at the Washington Warriors. They have a high of 174. But they also have 10 players that have already boosted.

Early advantage, but by midseason ... meh

b/c I feel that MrEmerkin is over analyzing this topic, here is my answer.

A teams average player value has nothing to do with its win/loss record. The only thing it looks at is the average skill point value of every player on the team. When your dots level up, you will see a rise in average player value. As you train your dots, you will see a rise as well.
