I've heard I should close the gap between agi and speed, and strength helps hold onto the ball, so I'm looking at those and more catching for the next few levels. Benchmark for catching is 33, I've heard more is fairly useless. Drops haven't been a problem this season yet.

Improve your catching, confidence and strength. No strength means you will get tackled easy.
I'd also suggest boosting your agility closer to your speed- you will notice a vast improvement in the ability to get open.
I'd make strength and confidence your first focus then catching.

Thx for the advice rob, I appreciate it. I'll do 2 agi, 2 catching and 1 confidence the next couple levels while training strength.

don't put points into confidence, daily train instead and make a 2/3 or 3/2 split on agi and catching.
