I just joined this game, so this is my first player. I am building a Receiving TE. I started out with spending first 21 SP's in strength and catching. I am planning to distribute my 15 SP (My 2nd set of SP) into speed and catching. I want to bring catching to 33 and speed to 15. Am I starting out good, or is there something that I've done wrong? I opened build to everyone.

Ask ITS and Skanker - They'll take care of you.

Decide If you want a speedster or A Possesion guy
Then for Speedster Pump speed and Agility up to asap
For A Possesion Guy Strength and Catching to 70
Never focus on more than two attributes and try to train them up to at least 30 before you use SP's just imo.

My bud told me about them. I'll be sure to do that.

Thanks! I think this seems like a good approach.
I'm gonna go with this.

Eh you want to focus on your primary att first. The problem is your archetype is more geared to a speed TE and not really a possesion type. You want either power or dual for that in the future.

Okay. Thanks, I will keep this in mind for the future.

Here is my example of what I want from a Receiving TE by level 40ish
Speed: 100
Agility: 70
Vision: 61
Catching: 61
Jumping: 40
Confidence: 49
Stamina: 40
Carrying: 49
Strength 40
Blocking 30

I use TEs(FBs too) to move the ball rather than block. I want more of a WR build for TE and more of a HB build for FBs.

no TE (or any build for that matter, spare a non booster) should be that rounded out by level 40.

My 28/30 Receiving TE. I capped Catching first, which was a mistake but its meant he's been productive in his first few season.

Strength: 16.35
Blocking: 16.35
Speed: 103.1 (+23)
Tackling: 8
Agility: 59.1
Throwing: 8
Jumping: 29
Catching: 58.1
Stamina: 27.35
Carrying: 29.1
Vision: 31.1
Kicking: 8
Confidence: 26

Catch Chance 6%

Will get Agility up to 77 next
