So reading this right what extended plateau will do is only put off the skill deterioration points until the extended plateau is over and that would be all the extended plateau would do for a player.

Am I correct in saying this or will you still receive game xp during the extended plateau and if so what about the players that will be just shy of day 480? Will they get the xp lost from the games played already?

I believe this question was asked but will the player be able to boost the three time each season during the extended plateau seasons?

And if so, will the plateau be extended even further for each boost done while in the plateau?

1. Do you receive game XP during the current plateau? No? Then why would you think you'd receive it during an extension of same?

2. "You can boost a player until the player is over 440 days old. At that point, the boost option will not be available for that player."

So... 462 days and younger will get extended plateau if they boosted?

While I applaud the decision since I really do like it I feel cheated.

My current players who are all entering the end of the first full season of decline will not be able to take advantage of this due to the rule changes made seasons back. It used to be you could level 36 times (I think), then they changed it to you can boost up until day 440. This was made after I had already built my players.

Well I made players on day 35 of season 4. Those 5 freaking days cost me 3 levels and now it has cost my 11 players built that day a few more seasons. So sorry if I am a little bitter but this just sucks for me now twice. I wish you would have allowed the rules on boosting players to stay the same for players built before the rules changes.

Nice move however since it will help all of us boosters.

You get 4 extra days of extended plateau for every boost through your players career so those 3 boosts you missed cost you 12 days of extended plateau.

If cut off -is 481 Days old on Season 17 day 1 .

Is off season counted in players age ?

Is S4 D40 and later Creation day the cut off ?

You miss the point that his guys are ineligible.

S4D40 is the earliest birth date this applies to.

Some questions...

Firstly about 480 day old dots with their first season of decline just behind them at the end of s16 and full 120 eligibility:
The announcement says their decline will be removed. Does that means that their attributes will be without any penalties, so they will begin declining again (entering their second decline season) at the onset of s20?

And more generally: even though no VPs are accumulated through the plateau, will the VA reset still be available each offseason?

Finally, will this mean that the implementation of coaches will be delayed for a season or two?

A welcome addition to the game imo. It'll sure throw a lot of reruiting plans up in the air though!

Bolded part needs an answer!

Each of the last 100 changes to GLB have made less and less likely to spend money on this game. This ONE change overides all those changes and has me reaching for my wallet for the first time in a long time. Brilliant move!

Just to clarify, extended plateau begins after normal plateau, correct?

Also, can we do something about the dots stuck @ level 71?

From the other discussion.

If age = > 400 but EXP < 71,000 then +25 exp per night.

EG, leave training experience on until players reach 71,000 experience points (Level 72)

Threshold should be 440 days old rather than 480, essentially players at 480 to end this season will get 6 or 7 seasons at the Pro/WL level due to having 2 first decline seasons while all players behind them begin to pile up over the next 2-3 seasons.

just hope they don't remove or change this because people are making moves based on this---will cause massive rage quit if changes come to this.
