Ive heard they increase every time you reach the next softcap, but how much? Is there a chart or list of them somewhere or at least a formula?

This for the decrease in gains for when a character levels up, I'm asking about how much the ALG is changed when a skill reaches a new softcap.
Unless I'm mistaken and the reason why people softcap their level's is to get the most out of the depreciating ALG possible, which is fine I guess but disappointing =/

the reason people softcap ASAP isnt because you get more ALGs... its just because the ALGs are worth more. for example, when an attribute is below the 48 cap, a position with .5 majors will receive the equivalent of .5 SPs on all their majors (given said player is below level 21 of course.). now if you take a major to the 48 cap, then suddenly that .5 ALG is worth 1 SP... take it to the 60 cap and it is worth 1.5 SPs. take it to the 68 cap and you are essentially earning 2 free SPs every time you level up.

What he said. There is a CB on one of my teams (level 8) who hasn't softcapped anything yet, he is also 9 days older so should have more SP from training.
Compare it with my level 8 CB who has hit the second cap. The .5SP ALG that he recieves on leveling is worth 1.5SP or an extra 1SP.
