Back over in Silver 6 all of the owners decided that we would not boost as we are tired of feeding the cash cow. In fact the Dublin Dragons went 16-0 last season in silver 6 and not a single person boosted.

We are encouraging all teams here in Silver #3 to NOT BOOST. Obviously there is no way to enforce this and you might get a guy or two that just don't pay attention on your team, but we are pushing for everyone to NOT BOOST or buy custom equipment.

We need to stop feeding the cash cow and since the peewee's really is the only thing that hasn't been jacked up by all the changes coming it seems to be the only place to really play and have fun.

I know I'm in on that. I have 26 players built for our team and we're talking probably close to 10K flex to boost them all.

Not all. I have nothing to do with this. I just do not want to be put into that group. Sorry.

Farmersville Sharpshooters here. We are a tight knit group of GMs and agents who will never boost or buy CE. We wont cry if somebody else does (even if you beat us), but we might gloat if we beat boosted/CE teams...

Seriously tho, just wanted to say hi to everyone and good luck (except when you play us).

looking forward to a good season and some entertaining forums.

The Farmers, as has been the case the last three seasons, will NOT be boosting.

I have to say that I haven't formed an opinion on this subject yet. I did boost last season in silver 6. I really wasn't aware that it was that big of an issue last season.

Based on my math, it cost about $4 per player to create, boost and then retire him at the end of the season. And a season is about 7 weeks, so that's about 60 cents a week per player. - I'm kind of thinking that is cheap entertainment for me. But, I know for other people it may not be. So, my question is this; What does everyone feel is a reasonable price to pay for a player for one season?

Force feedback game that blows out Tecmo Bowl graphics, Hell ya I would pay $4 a player, wait that is on my 360.
Really to each their own, If their AI is top notch some teams will boost to ensure victories, while others feed bort.

It depends on how many players you have, and if you buy custom equipment.

If your average player is 200 flex to start with, you put on 600 flex worth of CE, and you boost 3 levels, you are talking about 1400 flex/player. A QB, HB, or WR ends up being 1800 flex. Bort will sell you 2000 flex for $16.

1400 flex/player times 55 players per team, plus 400 flex to renew your team = 77,400 flex points per team.

If you are buying the higher packages, then you're looking at 40-60% discounts. And if you time it right, you might get one of the sale weekends where you get an even better discount. But those are never offered around rolling time...

So, realistically, you're talking $400-$500 bucks to field a full team of boosted/CE players. I guess you get a lot back at the end of the season.

Even to field a full team of non-boosted players, you're talking $70-$100.

To follow The Eagle's point - I think the ONLY way to win in Pee Wee is to have a team full of your own players. I've never seen a team full of recruited players win a championship. Not saying it hasn't been done, I just haven't seen it. So if you want to win a championship you are going to have to dole out some bucks.

The Dragons are trying two new approaches this season. We're not going to boost or buy CEQ plus we're going to try to recruit the rosters instead of building them ourselves.
