I think all the "favorites" will win, except CLP will beat Sharks. Other than that, the only other upset I could possibly see is ML over DVD, but I doubt it.

Yeah, round 1 typically has the fewest upsets but within the realm of possibility are:
- Crystal Lake over St. Petersburg (as droopy mentioned)
- Gabon over West Coast
No way do I see DVD losing their 'revenge' matchup as Beaver gets to take out his frustrations on what could become the biggest rivalry in the East.

I generally agree. I think WCC is too good to lose to Gabon, but I may be wrong.
The only reason I think DVD might lose is because they have not boosted at all. That might be the difference in the game, but it will likely come down to which team just has a better gameplan, which will probably be DVD.
