This Q & A session is for questions regarding the Game Changes only. We'll have a full Q & A at the end of May sometime. This Q & A is only going to be for one hour, maybe 90 minutes if there are a lot of questions to answer. It'll operate the same as all Q & A discussion sessions normally do. I'll let people post questions, lock the thread so that I can answer them, and then unlock so more people can post questions. This discussion is not to voice complaints that you might have about the changes, it is to solely ask questions about how the changes work and are going to be implemented.
The following were a few questions submitted via e-mail that I wanted to answer (some people sent in non Game Change questions - you will need to resend those for the next Q & A session):
I am unclear as to whether the equipment changes mean that there is a limit of two pieces of equipment per body part (whether regular or advanced) or whether it means a player can have 2 pieces of regular equipment on a body part but then on top of that stack one (or more) pieces of advanced equipment and so get the bonuses from all 3 or more pieces of equipment??
Every player will be limited to two pieces of regular EQ per body part. AEQ will not be limited. You can only get bonuses from one piece (AEQ or regular) at any one time. It's up to you which piece you choose to wear.
According to the announcement on 4/26 by Catch22, "you should make sure that you have two pieces of regular EQ for every body part for each of your players before day 41/42". This is obviously because regular EQ will require bonus tokens to purchase after the changes. Will these same pieces also require bonus tokens to upgrade? If yes, I assume it would be beneficial to fully upgrade this second set of regular EQ before the changes, if possible?
Regular EQ will not cost anything to upgrade. AEQ will cost 24 bonus tokens to upgrade.
If I have 20 BT, they will triple to 60 when the new system rolls out. If I have 2 pieces of AEQ in one slot, will it still cost me 4 BT to move it to another slot, then the 56 BT left over will allow me to upgrade it 8 times? Or will this number change to move it?
Everything in the new system is being converted at a 3:1 ratio. It will cost 12 bonus tokens to convert a piece of AEQ to a different body part and it will cost 24 bonus tokens to upgrade a piece of AEQ a level.
After a dot reaches 400 days old, they reach a plateau and then decline. What happens to coaches after 20 seasons, do they decline, retire, or just reach a point where nothing changes?
Coaches do not decline but they do reach a plateau point where they can no longer gain experience. In addition, they have a level cap that they can not exceed. Once a coach has completed 20 seasons (800 days old), they will be forced to retire.
