I had another respectable day, for my game #8 picks, going 3-1, and running my season total to 24-8. So I bought my wife a rig tonight, a really nice one at that, a Toyota Sequoia. Shouldn’t a man expect something really nice as a gesture of thanx? You know, a little something extra special between the sheets? What is the going rate? I mean, I didn’t buy her a Mercedes or nothing, so I guess I can’t expect the booty. But where should I set the bar? It’s not every year I buy my wife a car, so I also don’t want to set my target too low, you know what I am saying? I guess I need some advice on how best to maximize my reward. If flowers or candy are a few extra hugs and kisses, what is the value of a 4WD? Curious minds need to know. There really should be a man-law for this kind of thing, and all women should be legally forced to obey them. If only I were a King, or an Emperor, or a Dictator of some island nation…
Game #1. New Jersey Jets (6-2) vs Kiel Baltic Hurricanes (5-3). As for the game, I like the Jets to fly smoothly by the Hurricanes.

Game #3. Pensacola Pinfish (7-1) vs Sandy Desert Reptiles (6-2). Great game, easily could have been the game of the day. The fish somehow get by the reptiles, but everyone knows, that dinosaurs are cooler than both, and have bigger teeth.
Game #4. Game of the day. KC Chaos (7-1) vs Cambodia Peewees (6-2). Great game here, both teams know each other very well, and both teams are having great seasons so far. I see this one as a statement game. I have no snide remarks, or hot chicks to insert here, I just will comment on the importance of this game. This game will make the winner, and break the loser. It is all or nothing. Go big or go home. It is time to put up or shut up. If you got it, flaunt it. (that last one does not really work does it?) Bonus game – does not count in my season totals, unless I change my mind. 14th St Bucs (6-2) vs Tasmania Koalas (6-2). Great game, good records. 14st street rolls in this one. Just don’t think the Koalas are ready for the Bucs.
