Half the price for player building, half the price for custom, none of the new super confusing upgrades, no financial team burdens, etc, etc.....

Sounds like good ole fashion build-your-dot and team to win imo!

I love it, i love the new costs and the equal footing it will all start on at ground zero. It may be even more "lol" to the regulars but really, who has an enormous amount of time or money these days?

I'd like the great minds of this league add their 2 cents, this could possibly be the end of regular Casual if all these changes to training, finances and especially influential coaching effect our beloved and so-called "Casual" leagues. It certainly won't be so Casual imo and still having to recruit from regulars and pay regular price too?

I'll be thinking about this one for a while now......

I'll do that before I spend a dime on flex points for a damn"coach"....

Im not one to rage quit, but Im at my max as far as the amount of time I want to spend on this sim. All these changes are basically what boils down to a bunch of time consuming "fluff" and a cheesy way to sell more flex.

If they insist on pushing these changes....then Super Casual will be my only option if I stick around.

Whats really gonna piss me off is the fact that the paying customers are telling them that they don't want all these changes and they are doing it anyway....so, when say 25 or 30% quit the game altogether, and another 30 or 40 % opt for this new Super Casual, then they are gonna get a hard lesson in economics....
What they perceived as a way to make more money will end up losing them money, cause they were too hard headed to listen to the customers.

So after they have their "Oh shit" moment...they decide to scale it back down to more like what it is now....and I traded in a Pro team for a casual peewee team....

I know, I know, probably not gonna turn out that way.....but I haz been thinkin about shit like that for a few days now that all this came about.

But if it turns out that I end up with a Super casual team.....
then I promise you all that I'll be tryin to beat all your Super Casual asses......

Do or do not, there is no "try".

-yoda

*see my D.DOTS profile note, been there many seasons now!*

The ONLY thing i don't liek about the Super Casuals at all is there is no dual attribute intensive training, thus no AE. AE is a fun addition as is, and would and could make a player build a little to cookie cutter and boring long term to maintain?\

Other then that, Super Casual is great........UNLESS, Bort and company decided to leave the CAsual leageus EXACTLY like they are now, without coaches, without a salary cap etc.

Do not like. There's a pretty fine line between too much time and too little time, for me, in this game.

I don't know what I will be doing. Still to early in this current season to worry about it. I will admit there is probably too many changes being proposed for the next season. Why? Dunno that either. I suspect interest is waning a bit for GLB, so trying to make it interesting again?.?.? You guess is as good as mine.

Well, first, I promised all my Rum Runners that the Bridgetown franchise will be around until all our players retire. So, the Bridgetown Rum Runners aren't going anywhere.

Now, I really like the idea of Super Casual.

Of course, I've always believed that Casual meant basic tactics only. We'd still be like regular in every other way. But, I gave up that battle long ago.

As for all the changes, I've got some fairly strong opinions, but that's for another thread.

I'll be pursuing this as well, and would officially like to ask all you top old-school casual owners along to be the team braintrust, if you'd be willing, ?

Imagine, slacker owner = Me Co-Owner: Avenger?

Head Coach: McDuffy

OC: Joeblitz

DC: Sacsurge or Cruiser87?

STeams: Disastermaster

CFO: Funpentinence

GMs: Bill, Buck, DFG, Razor, Stizz, FutureGm, robo317, batsboy, mjpol.....and more!

LOL....ok, maybe that's ridiculous to have all us top guys on one team, BUT, on the other hand, why not?

and to go back to the main subject, the new proposed system seems like it's the same thing as the actual casual leagues just cheaper. I mean you will still have to build and train according to the new system, the new fiancial changes aren't that bad, and coaches are just coaches. We will only have one coach in casual if that.

So really it's just casual leagues but cheaper. So why create a whole new league when they can just reduce the price in the already existing leagues.

Not an Official Addict team, just packed full of Addicts & Admins & Mods, .

We did ban Max from that forum temporarily, but it didn't stick.

You know, come to think of it, an Addict team wouldn't have you for a GM then, so

Man, people are just so dang negative and drink too much haterade anymore,
