For example, a center with an effective level of 70 and SP value of 1100 might have a salary range of $400,000 to $700,000. If their salary is $500,000 they would be within range and would get a Morale Reserve Bonus of +5.

Will this salary range be shown when offering a contract or have we to guess about the range?

Another question. What happens when a player reaches a new effectiv level, could his contract than become less valaue and he lose his moral reserve?

Example:

I have a level 60 CB that has an effectiv level of 60 and SP value 778.48 at the moment
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1167597

Under the new system I will sign him to my team with a contract above range and he gets a morale reserve + 10 due to his contract. Than I train his attributes that are all at 95-99% at the moment and spent the 15 unused SP he has and 2 days later he has added 1 point speed, agility, jumping, vision and stamina due to training, thats worth 23 more SP and together with the 15 SP to spend his players value increases 38 points to 816,48 and his effectiv level will jump to 66 or 67.

But this will only change when he levels up again, cause from what I have seen effectiv level and SP valaue only change when you level up.

Lets assume with his new effectiv level and SP value his above range contract will now become an below range contact. What will happen? Will he lose his morale reserve because he is now a better player than when signing the contract or will it stay and this will only update when he signs a new contract?

Excellent question.

I think they said something about the expected salary showing up just under min salary on the contract page

After discussion, we have come up with a Revised Financial System. It can be found here:

GLB Financial System Changes

All changes (financial, training, and coaches) are now in their final version and Bort is going to begin programming efforts. As soon as he has user interface's available, we'll put something up so people can see what they look like and we will keep the community involved of all testing that takes place. Thanks for taking the time to discuss these changes with us over the past few days!

Does this mean he is programming the changes that are made since the first version or does this mean nothing is programmed yet and none of the changes has been tested in any form and you change everything without knowing the effects the changes have?

Pretty sure they changed the final vision/idea due to the outcry

? I guess it must be 1% for min salary?

. If a team goes over the cap, the total amount they are over the cap will not only have to be paid to the player's contracts but will also have to be paid as a fine (aka Luxury Tax) that will be redistributed to all teams in the league that did not go over the cap.

will this be done immedetly at any point in the season or only counts at the end of the season?

Player salary will have an expected range (like ticket prices for example) that is based upon a players Effective Level, Skill Point Value, and position. Their Morale Reserve will be based upon whether they are above, within, or below this expected range as follows:

My thinking is, this is why they let you renegotiate a players contract three times a season, max. Due to level-ups.... so, your player will lose his moral bank, as he levels up, because he will feel "under appreciated".

So, you will have to boost out the gate, give him a new contract in pre-season, then renegotiate it each level up, which could be three times during the season. They are trying to frontload everything.... this keeps teams from boosting before playoffs, and all that crap.... God forbid, a foe owner gets "surprised" with a playoff team that boosted before the first round game..... the world would end...

All this comes down to, is trying to keep teams from amassing huge bankrolls, when all they need to do is put all the costs on the teams, such as team owned equipment, fan appreciation items, stadium upgrades (such a field turf or natural grass), ground crews, team training facilities, team health and fitness facilities (along with upgrades for training/H&F), doctors, and all those options....

but with limited brain power, we get a hybrid approach that is basically half ass.....

going with basic, intermidiate, and full options, will help some, but if your going to add depth, at least make it Special Teams worthy.....

Four questions about Player Equipment:

1. Will all players' current EQs, other than AEQs, be reset to one set of EQ? (It should be)

2. What if players mess up their first set of EQ? It might happen to those newbie agents. They may not sell it, but can they reset their first set of EQ at a bonus token cost?

3. Is it free to upgrade the additional piece of EQ?

4. If I've sold back my First additional piece of EQ previously, at what cost do I purchase another additional piece of EQ? 15 BTs or 30 BTs?

I still don't like the overage account and yall resetting my team funds because i was able to spend as little as possible and saved up. Personally I already have a full stadium so i automatically lose half the funds yall "think" is excessive and since i can only by so many promotions a year i will prolly lose 80% of my excess funds because yall think this is a great idea. I love everything else get rid of this one section and ill love the entire change.

I Have never reset my team with huge funds back to lev 14 I have never told a player no for equipment so i could pay for stadiums but in my current league there are like only 4 or 5 other human teams that have more money than me. So please get rid of this change or when you set the limits be lenient on how much yall think is excessive.

questions that need to be answered (IMO):

1 - The player contract issue mentioned previously - is the range and bonus determined based on when he signs the contract, or when the player value changes can he drop back into a lower contract range?

2 - Can we get numbers posted on each league homepage or team homepage as to what the cap would have been for this year so we have a clue as to what to plan for?

3 - We obviously need the cap information and all the rest of this on when teams move to their new leagues and before we can sign new players - will that be the case?

4 - If a player has 2 sets of equipment today, can he sell one after rollover to this new system and get a bonus token refund?

5 - Since Bonus token costs for SP and AE upgrades cost 3 times what they do currently, will the current tokens be tripled as well? For example, I have already saved the 16 bonus tokens up for my next AE upgrade which will happen after I boost next pre-season - if they get doubled to 32, but the cost to level both pieces up goes to 48, I will get screwed over. I see that this change has already taken place - thanks!

6 - Can we have access to a "stadium builder" like some of the current player builders to try this out and look for issues BEFORE it gets implemented?

I will likely have more, but these most definitely need to be answered to help avoid a LOT of confusion.

So if you buy a 2nd piece of EQ with bonus tokens, will it upgrade for free or will it upgrade with bonus tokens?

Is the "expected contract" based on the player's current player value/effective level or is it based on when the player signs?

Can't this new programming include a system that will help us forecast and manage the money? That is the biggest problem for people, I think.
