Okay, I don't think this is as bad as initially thought after letting it sit in a little.

If anything, it will keep me doing something productive towards the game, besides just sitting here looking at the same stuff over and over again starting to second guess myself.

You'll have to plan out the season a little better as far as where you spend your teams money (what games you need the extra boosts, etc.), and may even liven up the team forums discussing plans on how to use resource points (EQ or in game bonuses etc.).

I'm all for it.

But you guys change the game so frequently, players need the ability to change EQ to adjust to all the changes. This will make it nearly impossible to do that.

At some point, this game will get out of beta and stop changing so much. You think it is perfect where it is? No, but it will get closer and closer with every change. Don't be afraid of change.

That jumped out at me too. From the way I read it, lvl64+ equipment won't exist at all.

Thats for the 2nd piece for a body part.........still won't be able to upgrade it past 56, so buying two sets of equipment is useless now I guess

Even if the interface isn't that complicated, this will require some serious thought from an owner or multiple CFO's. Teams at lower levels moving up in leagues almost every season will also have to do some guess work deciding whether they can afford to do Special Event Days at home games. Between figuring out who will be the best teams you play while recruiting is still going on, predicting how well those teams game plan, doing a budget based on ticket and concession sales that haven't happened yet, determining which Stadium sections will need overhaul and when, and how much you have to put into Facilities to stay competitive and be able to afford everything else or your team will tank games because they start with 10 morale, is without a doubt a lot to swallow.

No more cash trades for players? I understand the reasoning as to limit the fire sales to keep leagues competitive, but that will put a bigger strain on recruiting than you can imagine. I can remember several seasons going in knowing that I will have to pick up a good player or 2 by trade to have a shot at a trophy. Will trades have to have players from both teams involved or is there another option there?

I'm not sure I like the fact that teams dropped down to lvl 14 capped teams 3-4 seasons ago and have stockpiled millions will be able to use that extra cash in any capacity either. If the teams will get cash adjustments make it global.

Wow!

Yeah, some of my initial concerns are gone as I understand it better. I like the ability for an owner to pick some games to boost the team without having to count on agents to temp boost or something like that. However, without some solid figures on salary caps, team cash maximums, and such, it is hard to know how much of this will truly be affordable or not.

I'm not afraid of change. However, it is very frustrating for a player and team to have a plan and build towards it for several seasons, only to have the game change significantly and that plan no longer work. Currently, we can adjust via VA resets and EQ changes. If you can not effectively change EQ, then a year's worth of work can be lost with a single change.

Also, consider that it took them 15 Beta seasons (and who knows how many Alpha seasons) to get to this point. Who knows how long it will be before we are out of Beta.

The new morale system based on salary is GREAT, and makes sense!
+1

If your current team cash is in excess of this amount the amount that it is over will be put into a Overage Account. The Overage Account can be used as follows:

This is a joke. Since my team is worth over 160m Im going to lose penalized?

Honestly these things are what makes me not put money in to this game any more.

revenue sharing and a salary cap? if were all on same playing field with a salary cap why would my team have to share profits with another bonehead owner who cant figure out finances? more changes i just dont know any more i think this game is becoming a bit much.

Do we need a collective bargaining agreement too?
