How will this new system avoid the "rich getting richer" syndrome that seemed to be such a negative of the old system?

All team cash is getting reset based on where your team is at in the league structure. Equal footing to start.

My head hurts from attempting to read all of the 3 new changes.

More is not always better. It is already alot of work to run a team. My ownership expires on Season 16, Day 40. If all 3 of the huge changes go into effect, I am most likely done.

Not sure that I like this much at all but will re-read and digest it some more later on...

Easiest answer to that is salary cap. Every one will have the same cap applying to them in the league they are in.

FYI I see the interface for this being pretty straightforward - lots of simple "click to buy" sorts of things, with a bar or number at the top that shows your current and potential morale bonus for the purchase.

It may seem like there's lots of stuff, but once it's put into an interface it should be easier to understand. Think along the lines of the franchise mode in some console sports games - you go to a "stadium" page and choose some upgrades and options at the start of the season, and then go play the rest of the game.

For those that think this is going to be a ton of work - I'd just remind you to read the following. I'll put it in the OP.

Sometimes simpler is better

Right now it's too convoluted right now to understand how it all works, so there's no way of telling if it will be better

Hopefully this will turn out to be much simpler in practice than it is in the explanation, because those three threads are complex as hell

True, but you can use the "overage" cash for things. 100% for stadium, 50% for other junk etc... so it is not COMPLETELY equal.

OK, but over time, the well managed teams will become better off than the others, just as has happened now. Every current team started off on equal footing, but over time, some are richer than others. I am just trying to understand how this is better than the current system, or is it simply different (i.e. more buttons to push = more fun?).

Will there be a big reshuffling of teams for this? Since there will be revenue sharing and such and salary caps? When you have a very low level team say 40-45 in AA and other team level 60+ in the same league, gonna be much different salary requirements... This of course is just one simple example... I am sure there are more exaggerated ones out there...

I read most of it but skimmed much of it as well.. Wasn't sure if any of this was listed...

So 100 resources per player per season that cannot be saved.

I guess 2nd pieces of equipment above lvl 56 will be impossible to get?

Or am I reading that wrong?

Yeh, no way I'm keeping all three of mine, I'll probably keep just the casual team and dump my regular and pee wee teams. Hard enough to keep up with everything as it is now, never mind with all this additional stuff to think about, and agents to complain about.

No longer just "I should be the starter" / "I don't wanna play special teams" . . . now it'll be "you should've bought the XXXX to improve all our pre-game morale".

So . . . . on second thought, I may just dump all my teams this off-season and let it all sort itself out for a couple of years before getting back into ownership. I can stay busy enough doing special teams coordination, maybe do some defense for someone.

After the caps are set, will teams that are over the caps be forced to cut players??

From what I am reading if we want to play this game and be successful we all need to quit our jobs and make GLB our #1 priority. I hope that I am sort of overreacting but this may be the straw that broke the camels back for me.
