I just heard the news today that Kuris Reynolds - aka Fittybuk (http://goallineblitz.com/game/home.pl?user_id=85116) died in an avalanche on March 13th in Revelstoke: http://www.about99.com/avalanche-victims-widow-speaks-to-ctv-news/
Kurtis was my best friend in Goal Line. I met him in Season 2 when I was just starting out - I hadn't spent a penny on the game and he took a chance on me and made me the sole GM on his team - the Strathmore Strippers. It was a last place team that we completely rebuilt and eventually moved up to the CPL - winning a few awards (and cups) along the way. He was extremely loyal to all of the players that joined our teams and frequently went out of his way to reward them.
Kurtis was an incredibly generous man - he actually bought me my first flex points buying me a $50 package. He wasn't a huge contributor on the boards he tended to be very loyal to the teams and owners that he joined.
From his family:

The first time being last year, watching the same event. Kurtis was a spectator who happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.”
He will be missed.
