I dont have any experience with power rushers, so I dont know what works best here. I'm currently looking at Lower the Shoulder and Surge, what do you guys suggest?

can't a rushing fullback also choose spin?

lower shoulder requires FB to be at full speed.....unless you have 10 in FS and 73+ agility, i would not choose lower shoulder, maybe power through.

They can, but it probably wouldn't be very useful as it's unlikely that a rushing FB would have enough agility to trigger often.

LTS doesn't require the FB to be at full speed and FS rarely triggers on a back (only when they come to a near complete stop while breaking a tackle). Power Through is already in the FB's SA tree so that isn't an option. LTS is the best option for a rushing FB.

You don't know what you are talking about.

LTS is more successful the closer to full speed you are....Power through does not. Believe me.

I would say Surge would be your best bet after PT.

I know more than you do. Even if you are correct that LTS works better at full speed, if he's building a power rusher, he will probably already be at full speed by the time he hits the line of scrimmage, so it is still the smart choice. You are also contradicting yourself. First you said LTS requires you to be at full speed then you said that it works better the closer to full speed you are. Finally, breaking tackles is easier at higher speeds--this applies to LTS, Power Through, and just regular broken tackles--it isn't something that is unique to LTS. Once again, since he is building a power rusher, his top speed isn't likely to be incredibly high (compared to other backs), so he should focus on those skills that help him break tackles at the speed that he is running. Surge is a good choice as well, but since PT is the only break tackle SA that FBs have, I'd choose LTS over Surge. For a power HB, Surge is a great choice.

Or when they are standing waiting for a short pass or they slow down significantly to catch a ball.

With old ALG's it was, and still is VERY possible. By level 50 he'll have STR rounded out and SPD at a useful level, if he isn't producing at that point you can shoot me
