I don't get passed to often... when I do, I catch the ball, but I'm always double covered or something.... is this a good build??

If you play left outside receiver, typically as the No. 2 receiver on your team, you will be double covered on the long routes by the CB on you and the FS over you. Try and get the No. 3 (non-starting) role. Ck the nearby thread on route run. I explain the mismatch there.

Every one doesnt work at the #3. Your making it seem like you can put anybody there. Just because you are a higher level than the cb doesnt mean you will be effective as a slot wr , there are a few things that go into it . On our team last year i was the #1 and i had the most catches and yards, not the #3

i was following this. flames says it's typical, if you have three good WRs, the third guy will get good stats because of that mismatch.

Of course, all kinds of things can factor in, as you say.

If you are built properly for the slot you will be successful there and get lots of grabs. But it is based on build.
