If the D hasn't adjusted their AI much this season, then they can take even more advantage. It's all in the know.

This is BS. No offense smitt but thats just not true.

What? It's never happened before huh? So it can't possibly happen again? You say BS, but I say different. Agree to disagree at this point in the season, because it just won't get changed. I'm just hoping for next season.

There is no chance at realism whether its GLB realism or comparing to NFL. Nothing changes as much as GLB and still everyone is blamed for their builds and how they plan. Build for what situation, plan for what situation? Bottom line is only someone who can read code or is sleeping with an admin could pass this season. Is this dungeons and dragons where only 5 nerds can succeed or a football simulation? I pray for the football fan that joined in season 12.

look at the line blocking on the play and the pass rush. The QB never has a good line of sight to WR #2. He is obscured by the NT and the MLB as well as the offensive linemen and RBs blocking for the QB. On the other hand he can see WR #1 almost the entire play. WR #3 is visible most of the play but is lost behind the DT and the TE can't be seen until the the QB is cocking the ball ot throw to WR #1. All in all this play went exactly the way it should have. The QB doesn't have a 3D view of the field like we do. He can only see through the holes the line creates for him.

Even and leavin'. A very common term taught to QBs and WRs everywhere.

You do realize that anyone can see what plays any specific team runs, right?

So, I don't know how the scouting tool can be considered as being in the know.

Who mentioned anything about a scouting tool?

You have to remember that in the sim the "dots" are much, much smaller than the actual visual representation on the replay. So there is more lanes for a pass available than appears. And to what extent would be difficult to judge. A lot of teams that were successful passing had scat backs. That's why the VA is being phased out. Now with it being an SA it's a flat bonus instead of a % bonus. Either way the passing sim sucks now. ANd I agree that they won't do anything to change it this season.

Well I recant my words they did do some things to try and help. Namely it sound like the QB is going to go through his checkdowns faster. Problem is QBs don't just look at 1 WR at a time. THey have to go through their checkdowns, but they can see a portion of the field. THink like the QB VIS in Madden Football. If a QB is looking at his TE say as the first target. He should be able to "see" open receivers in the same vicinity or in the "cone" of vision. Also the checkdown order on a lot of these plays are not very logical and it doesn't help. Also shouldn't there be a designated dump off route on every play? IRL every play has a dump option if pressure hits or nothing is open. At a certain point the QB should bail on the play and dump off, throw away, or run for it.

When I watched this replay. Regardless of line of sight, the QB looked to the TE, saw he was covered, looks to WR1 and said there it is and waited. There was NO checkdown after he spotted WR1. He never looked at anyone else. He just waited. My question would be what was WR1 doing or done to make the QB focus on him or was it something the QB did in his tactics? Cause WR2 was more open just as early as WR1. WR3 was just as opened as WR1, just wasn't as far down the field.
