Stop talking about this crap and come get your Kevin Bacon whoopin'.

There is a pretty big problem with focusing on the end of the game. Mainly the idea that if you don't make the first 6-7 seasons of a player's career worth playing, new players are not gonna bother to boost constantly to get to level 70, They will quit and play something else.

As it stands now, we are expecting people to play the game for a year before their player's production is a concern.

this imo

Where do people get this numbers from?

Slowbuilt dots are fun/competitive from like season 3 on. Obviously 2ndary attributes will still be lacking but to say that you only get 4 seasons of fun from a dot is silly.

But that's whats repeated all the time, so it MUST be true right?

I think those numbers are just in opposition to the idea that only end game balance matters.

If you are building a blocking fullback for the Pros, when do you start dumping SPs into speed?

A while.

Though I'm having problems noting any relevance. Problem has been fixed. It will no longer take that long.

It has been this way for 14 seasons, and your argument is that it is not relevant because we are now finally looking into changing it? Really?

I used that example to highlight an issue that has plagued the game. If that is not the case with archetypes, I applaud all those that have made it possible for a balanced sim in most leagues. It is abit early to start the buttpats, though.

The ends justify the means imo. The fact its fixed now, means it doesn't really matter that it was broken yesterday.

Also there's nothing wrong with premature buttpats.

I know I bitch alot, but I am one of the game's biggest fans, and sincerely hope the changes are for the better. I am excited about everything that has been proposed thus far.

*premature buttpats for all*

I'll probably set something up that will test intermediate and lower level dots eventually. It won't be right away though.

Thank you for answering, just wanted to know if it was being considered. Hadn't heard anything about it.
