This isn't anything fancy, but I watched my game live today.

All of the box score pages for every game already exist. I hunted down all of my games so I posted the game links in my team's forum. During the hour of my game I just kept refreshing the box score until it was underway. Then I switched to the play by play and watched the game "live" from the last simmed play. With this method you have to catch the game while it's happening and you'll miss the very beginning but you can watch it all live.

I still haven't had time to do this for GM's -- I've been swamped. Hopefully I can get it done soon.

I have never tried that plugin, so I don't know what to tell you. It definitely works in Firefox.

I'd really like to be able to track key data for each game without having to enter it into a spreadsheet myself. I'l like to keep track of:

sub in/out for each position group
pre and post game energy for each player
# of plays for each player
Game tactics settings

I don't think this has been posted yet but I know it's possible. If there's anyway someone could whip up a quick script that'll allow me to ignore (completely remove from my view) posts from certain users then that'd be really great.

well its not a gm script but if you dont mind installing another extension(http://rip.mozdev.org) I can post a rip file for it that will do the job..
also have one to remove d-leagues from the search results to make it easier to find cpu teams if anyone wants it.

How about a script that makes a separate section on the play-by-play page with only plays where your player did something?

Hm.. That actually wouldn't be too hard..

"I need some guinea pigs!

I don't know how many people are familiar with Greasemonkey (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greasemonkey), but if you have it (or have Firefox and are willing to install it), I have created a hack to hide the game scores so that you can check things out a little more "real time." The code is very poor and slapped together, but it works.

1. Install Greasemonkey (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748) (if you don't have it)
2. Load http://idledreams.net/projects/greasemonkey/goallineblitz.user.js
3. Go to your GLB home page
4. The score of you latest game should say "Hidden Score", click on this link
5. Here's the tricky(ish) part. Greasemonkey runs javascript once a page is loaded. So, if it loads slow enough, you'll see the score flash. You may want to look away for a few seconds until it has loaded and had time to hide the scores.
6. You can now click on the play by play (same caveat as above). You can reveal each quarter/ot/final by clicking on their headings.

Please let me know your impressions. I obviously need to add things, such as hiding the top performers, but this should be a quick hack to hide the score before you've seen the pbp. Please post here or PM me with any problems/suggestions/etc.

Happy hacking!"

scarlet, feel free to repost with any new info, I'll just delete this post after you do so

Too bad it doesn't hide the score from my GM Team Link.

It hides it from the player but not from the team so I see it anyway

I know some people will say just use Control F and search you name, but if a QB wants to watch all his plays he could do so by just clicking next?
That would save loading and reloading pages all the time.

Can you make it possible so it includes only plays your player was on the field as well, by pulling the info from the highlights page info?

That could be really useful!

Whenever it comes to pulling information from another page things get complicated and slow.

Bookmark the user page from someone on your team who isnt a GM/owner and get to the link that way.
