OVERVIEW:
Team started in season 2 at BBB level. One owner, have never gutted the team, trying to maintain.
Started changing over from 1st batch to a new group a few seasons ago.
Was 4th seed despite that and wond up moving to AAA early. Paid consequences, but on the rise.
Still need talent to keep momentum.
ALLTIME RECORD - 130-60
USA A1 Western Conf Champs in season 7
Playoffs S2, S3, S4, S5, S6, S7, S8, S10, S11, just missed S13.
Salaries/Bonuses are NOT wild. Keep them at or near min. This has allowed us to buy every piece of equipment over 12 seasons.
Want to scale back to about roster minimum to reduce PT juggling headaches. Goal is to keep all players growing on time - you get better, team gets better.
I do have some oldsters still hanging around that can continue to be retooled for possible ST duty.
I've been doing everything OC/DC/ST for pretty much every season. experimented with OC - failed and took a year to get close to normal production. DC - failed and gutted our defense midseason - again recovery took time. I AM open to suggestions though and always want to learn more. Plenty of real world experience, but doesn't always translate to a sim. Tough to do it right though with the amount of flexibility that keeps expanding. If I can find someone on the roster that can make us better - all for it. We've got some great assets here.
QB has been growin gwith us - one of the earliest change overs. Solid
HB - 2 guys that have been over 1000. Both can have an impact running or catching.
FB - New blood here, similar to our departing stud except for the SA's/VAs but those will come.
TE - NEED. Would like to have a mammoth blocker type. Bravo is old and a slugger too, but he can eat up ST snaps to keep the others fresh.
WR - Have 4 solid players here, can use one more - stud or young, either way.
C - NEED ONE.
G - NEED at least one starting quality. have one youth for depth, Buehler is upgrading EQ now and should be OK. max 4 guys for two spots. PT is always good for our OL.
OT - NEED - again, two guys on roster are old and fading. Need to get a little younger to sustain long term. Two guys on roster will accept back up roles.
DT/NT - NEED NEED NEED. I have a grandpa waiting, but otherwise the world is yours. max 2 at each spot.
DE - NEED 2. 2 solids on squad, need two more. Inactive will be dumped as we add to roster
LB - NEED NEED I've got youth, need studs to run a 4-3/4-4. Inactive to be dumped. Blitzes from all over - want fast hitters that can do it all. Monster MLB would be nice
CB - NEED NEED Have silverhairs in teh back pocket, want younger studs. Lots of specialty formations, so PT not an issue 5 deep. Mine will slide down chart.
SS - all set
FS - NEED NEED. Wide open. My fading all-star is still hanging around just in case, but this is a hole.
