Sorry this is a little late, but as promised, I'm doing these again:

In the West
Week 1 Overview: There was nothing wild about this western conference. Every favorite won, but there was one close game between the STARS and Headbangers.
Week 1 Results (Prediction in Parentheses): SAS over Rockwall 45-0 (SAS 40-3), STARS over Headbangers 24-21 (OT) (Headbangers 10-9), OR over Dayton 38-0 (OR 23-0), and HHF over the Wolverines 21-3 (HHF 14-6)

Week 2 Matchups
#1 San Antonio Saviours vs. #4 Raccoon City S.T.A.R.S.
First Meeting: SAS 48-0
Tale of the Tape: Both teams performed in the first round as they should have, SAS winning big and the STARS playing the Headbangers in a very close game. SAS is arguably the best team in silver 5 this year, and the STARS have been inconsistent. SAS issued a thorough thrashing in the first meeting, but Gongadan can adjust well. SAS' only losses came to 2 gold teams and another undefeated Silver team, and the STARS have not done as well against common opponents.
Prediction: Not as bad as the first time, but SAS 27-0

#2 Ohio Rage vs. #3 Hobbittown Hairy Feet
First meeting: OR 10-0
Tale of the Tape: Both teams have been very solid and earned this spot in round 2 throughout the season. Both also had very solid showings last week. OR again overcame their lol lolbars with a shutout victory and another stellar defensive performance. Hobbittown shut down the offense of a good AAF team. The first meeting was very closely contested between the two elite defenses. Expect this one to be a defensive struggle.
Prediction: OR in another punt battle 7-3

In the East
Week 1 Overview: Mostly usual, with Tallahassee having a larger margin of victory than I thought possible in peewee playoffs. Darkus showed they are definitely elite and Gondwana came to play, but couldn't win. The surprise was the Mailmens' onslaught of my defense.
Week 1 Results (Prediction in Parentheses): Tallahassee over Lone Star 147-0 (Tallahassee 98-0), Darkus over Midland 35-7 (Darkus 45-3), Montgomery over Gondwana 28-10 (Montgomery 45-10), SDM over Oahu 59-30 (Oahu 31-16)

Week 2 Matchups
#1 Tallahassee Beatdown vs. #4 Darkus Blacks
First Meeting: Tallahassee 10-0
Tale of the Tape: Tallahassee continued their remarkable season and quest to return to gold with the largest pasting of a human team I have ever seen in peewee (I've seen worse over CPUs obviously), and it was in the playoffs. Darkus actually gave up 7 more points this time to Midland than last time, despite gameplanning. Both teams are favorites in the conference though, and it seems too early for them to meet. In their first meeting, Tallahassee's efficient balanced offense and good passing game was too much, but it was close. Both teams only continue to improve, though, so it should be well contested.
Prediction: Tallahassee 24-10

#2 Montgomery Manglers vs. #6 Saskatoon Disgruntled Mailmen
First Meeting: Montgomery 70-14
Tale of the Tape: Montgomery played well against a Gondwana team that prepared very well, it seemed. However, they seemed a little conservative compared to their usual game and made it a little closer than it maybe should have been. Saskatoon beat the be Jesus out of Oahu with an offense that issued many big plays and continued their strong finish of the season. Of course, my opinion is biased here, however. Despite this, both teams seem to be playing well enough when it counts. Unfortunately, in the first matchup Montgomery found exploits and tore them apart on offense. However, even they couldn't stop Saskatoon's potent offense (for the limited amount of time they were on the field). This is sure to be an offensive shootout.
Prediction: Montgomery 41-20

Good work, some pretty good predictions last round, so it'll be interesting to see how close you go in round 2.

I think Beatdown vs Blacks will be game of the round though TB28-24DB.

Darkus is a puzzle for me, since they don't gameplan during the season.
I'm thinking this is gonna be a nailbiter, and the game could go either way.
I'm thinking it will be really close, like a 3-0, 6-3, or 7-6 score.........and I won't make a prediction in either team's favor......

We don't gameplan in the playoffs either. I just randomly load in one of the AIs and hope for the best.

LOL......Darkus, I hope the winner of our game advances to the finals..unfortunately, I won't be around for that.
My mom is actively dying and I am leaving with the hour to go be with her and my family and likely won't be around or able to do anything with the Beatdown any further this season.
I think this is a great league we are in, and regardless of who win the conferences and league title, I want to thank everyone for their sportsmanship and competitive spirit.

Til later, God bless everyone and good luck!
