The playoff picture is pretty clear now. There could possibly be a little more shuffling around before the playoffs start, but the cast has pretty much been set. Troy and Night Lights have wrapped up the #1 seeds by winning big games in week 14.
Western conference
Chicago hosts Decatur in hopes of winning out. This game is pretty much for pride as both teams have already secured a spot in the playoffs.
The 4 seed in the West is far from decided. Chicago is trying to fight their way to the 4 seed as Kcuf' has backslid into the 4th or 5th seed after starting out 8-0.
Eastern conference
Night Lights travels to Bay City to take on the Bad Boys. Night Lights is sitting pretty after wrapping up the 1 seed after their big win over Springfield. Bay City is still reeling after a sound defeat at the hands of Iowa City. It's a tough 3 game stretch for Bay City and their bottom heavy schedule appears to have caught up with them.
South Pole travels to Springfield in a battle to decide the 2 seed in the East. This should be a knockdown-drag out and will loom big as the playoffs approach. Springfield is trying to come back after a tough loss to Night Lights and South Pole is looking to make it two losses in a row for the Atoms. If South Pole wins then it comes down to a three way tie breaker between Springfield, Iowa City, and South Pole for the 2 seed. If Springfield wins they win the outright 2 seed.
Predictions
Chicago has been really tough in the second half of the season. I think they are just too tough for Decatur to handle. 'Canes by 17 over the Monsters. I was way too conservative with this prediction. Chicago cruised to a 58 point victory.
Bay City is the only thing standing between Night Lights and 16-0. A Bay City victory is on Night Lights NGTH list. Night Lights by 60 over Bay City. Night Lights dominates with a 62 point win.
