Title is incorrect--I actually rolled "Lower the Shoulder" rather than stiff arm. What's everyone's opinion of these two for rushing-oriented FBs? I'm aware going in that I'd need two of them to be effective at the higher levels.

I've think i remember hearing, which should imply absolute fact, that the "lower the shoulder" requires a head of steam to activate - something a rushing fullback would theoretically have when breaking tackles. Prolly better for a grinder since I think it benefits more of a "dive for yardage" / "tenecious" effect than it would for a reciever, but certinaly would be a more effective SA than it would be for TEs.

Two of them, good. I'd aim more for Stiff or Break Tackle % when going OOP on a rusher, but LTS should help you break a few more tackles when PT doesn't fire.

F Lower the Shoulder, it will only activate when you have quite a bit of momentum with you, and even then it rarely seems to activate even at higher levels, I personally avoid it and for TE's I roll for stiff arm rather than investing in LTS. Power Through and Stiff Arm seem to fire much more often and don't require nearly as much momentum to fire.

Bumped to ask if anyone has experience with First Step as a FB? Did it help with blocking, running, or neither?
