There are a surprising number of teams that still have 0 human players on the rosters. Are these guys just waiting until later to sign all of their many recruits, or are there going to be a bunch of patsies in Silver 5 this season?

I hope they sign players,last year it was pretty competive here

So how does this work, the teams that sell in the postseason stay wherever they were placed? Or will these two new guys get bumped down to Copper?

Yeah, recruiting is tough. You basically have to start halfway through the previous season, posting in the forums, making contacts, etc. Or, you know, 5000+ flex of your own.

Oh by the way--Nice avvy, Rolandman. It's amazing how much you can see the difference in coaching between Nutt and Petrino.

I was watching Mizzou play Vandy last night (BBall), and I was again thoroughly impressed with Mike Anderson's coaching style. Man I wish we had him or Nolan back. No offense to Pelphrey, but I just don't see evidence of much coaching, other than half the team being suspended all the damned time.

Yeah...I don't understand the U's decisions sometimes...Why would they snub Anderson the way they did? Gotta be some political nonsense that doesn't make it out of house. While I like Nolan...I don't want him back. I'm not sticking up for the treatment of him by UA, but he turned into a royal wus at the end. We should have gone with Anderson when Nolan was out. I'm with you on Pelphrey; I think he'll be fine in the long run...but he needed a few more years at...what was it? South Alabama? BIG step into the SEC.

Yeah, I'm not ready to give up on Pelphrey yet; but watching Mizzou (and before that, UAB), I can really see a consistent style to Mike Anderson's games. And it works a lot of times, they went to the Elite 8 last season, and UAB had some success in the tournament while he was there (including a big upset over Kentucky). I don't see a lot of evidence of Pelphrey's (or Heath's) coaching in the Arkansas team, other than the guards looking back at the bench every time they cross the half court line.

Anyway, I can understand why they didn't hire Anderson back then; with everything going on with Nolan at that time, they couldn't. And I don't really want Nolan back, there's too much that's happened. But I really would like to either get Anderson or someone like him. Pelphrey was touted as an up-tempo defense guy, but the closest I've seen to "40 Minutes of Hell" is 40 minutes of what the hell?

And I'm doubly excited this year! We don't have cable...but I do have highspeed internet--and I just discovered JustinTv so I get to see the ESPN games online (hooked up to my tv, of course)
