RB Maurice Drew (6'1" 191lbs) has just signed a 3yr contract worth upwards of $190,000 with wats555's Niagara Knights of the Canadian AA league. The $1500/day deal included a $10000 signing bonus for the second-string back, who was added mid-season to help further bolster an already formidable rushing attack (#6 overall, #3 in efficiency).
The addition hopes to help end a two-game losing streak that dropped the team from 3-0 to 3-2 on the season as the Niagara Knights play host to the conference leading Saskatoon Crocodiles (4-1) Sunday, March 23rd.
