Just wondering??? It happened to us. Laggo thinks it's alright to hire my level 14 OT (voltron) to be a GM on his team. Of course cartoon boy accepted.

So who's worse the team owner that offered, or the player that accepted??

Just wondering. I offered to let a player from my team GM their team, but he/she won't have any part of that. Yet he/she thinks it's ok for him/her to do that??

A friend of mine ran into this issue before as he played/gm'ed a team in South America. First and foremost I should say I think 99.9999% of Conakry's GM's are just for show, I don't think anyone actually scouts, recruits, or anything other than Laggo. I think it's just his way of hooking friends up with a GM title. Voltron hasn't posted on our forums or really said anything so I don't think you should have any problems.

My friend just shut his trap whenever a game between his two teams came up. Didn't post on the boards for 2 days. That was about it.

Ok basically here is what happened.

Me and voltron hanging out on chat and voltron says he wants to be a GM and learn how to OC/DC. I say he could certainly help out with us and he is excited and accepts offer. He mentions he has player on Mirages and that could be a problem. I tell him it's no biggie and I'll just ban him from forums when we play them so he cant gameplan against himself.

5 minutes later his OT is taken off the depth chart and he is banned from Chet's team forums.

I feel kinda bad now because It's probably semi-my fault since I didn't think Chet would react in that fashion. So I offer chet to take my OT and let him rot instead of Voltrons. Chet refuses. Chet makes proposition that if one of his players get to be GM of my team (See builds / Win award) he'll promise to play Voltron. Voltron the whole time is saying Chet obviously overreacted and doesnt mind his OT rotting making 1880 a day if he gets to learn OC/DC. So I refuse the deal.

Actually I plan on scouting and gameplanning for laggo but he was going to ban me from the forums when the two played each other(If they ever did). And I haven't told Laggo a thing about Chet's team and I have told Chet a thing about Laggo's team.

Ehh thats a sucky situation. Honestly Chet I wouldn't worry about it, if anything the burden of worrying should be on us. Voltron plays for you but can see our tactics on a weekly basis and knows everything about our team. We have no clue about anything involving your team and it's not like he can report back to us about it.

I think both Chet and Laggo are great owners so obviously I'd like to see this thing settled, I just think everyones being a little overly paranoid about this whole thing. We'll play each other ONCE a year, twice if both of us are lucky and theres no point in making a big deal out of something that can be easily avoided. Let Voltron play for you, let him dominate, because lets be honest the guy has a monster OT (which can only mean good things for you) and when the time comes if you are truly worried about the situation both sides can just ban him from their message boards/tactics if need be.

I personally think that the guy should not be a GM for the other team. I think it's bad form.

Well when Lagoo refused my offer to let a member of my team GM his team. That told me all i needed to know.

Overreacted my ass. It was wrong, and laggo/volt you knew it was f'd up! No owner in their right mind would stand for this!

My team may not win it all, but he'll have a blast being here. Good luck fellas!!! I'm just proud to own a team in the PRO league. I love all the people on my team!!!!


Laggo also leave Rogo's DE alone. He want's nothing to do with you.

I really dont give a shit anymore so if you want to GM my team by all means be my guest.
