The rankings make no sense:
The Georgia Dawgs are 2-2, week two we were ranked 21, we win week three and dropped to 28, we lose week four and move up to 22. So when we win we drop, and when we lose we move up, good system!!

It's not just based on Wins and Losses. It also ranks you based on the W-L of your opponents. It ranks on how many points you score, and how many you give up. It also takes into account the points for and against of all of your opponents. Every week all of that data changes based on many things, not just your performance.

I get what your saying, but we lost 42-0 and moved up 6 spots. Now that, I do not get.

how is moscow all the way at 30 we should be at at least 24 or 25

The rankings probably won't look right until about midseason

Nascar- maybe everyone that was above you lost really bad, maybe the teams that beat the team you lost to won really big (thus making them stronger) maybe the teams that the team that beat you beat (wow alot of beats) started winning really big making the opponents they beat a lot "stronger" thus making them a much harder opponent.
