Im not to sure about these power rankings... Lansing Legends lost to Little Ohio State Peewees but yet hey are placed ahead of us. It seems these things tend to get a little more accurate with more games. thanks for the post though.

That's exactly right. Because it is weighted on Strength of Schedule as well, once more games are played it becomes much clearer and more accurate.

The Squirrels have the same strength of schedule as #1 and #2 but have better ranked offense and defense yet they are 3rd???

I was wondering exactly the same thing. Also you beat us head-to-head in week 1.

It depends on who you played... and how who you played ranks. If I beat 3 teams and you beat 3 teams and you beat me 14 - 7 and I beat the 2 teams I played (besides you 200 - 0) but somehow those 2 teams beat the teams they played 200 - 0 (besides me) and then you played 2 teams and beat them 14 - 0 and those 2 teams beat the 2 teams they played (besides you) 200 - 0 and those teams were 0 - 3 it would say i'm > you because I beat all the teams I played and won against by a lot, those teams did well vs other teams (not just me) so they will be ranked highish and the teams you played would be ranked lower because their schedule was vs against a bunch of noob teams that didn't win 1 game, whereas my schedule was vs teams that are 2 - 1....

Long and confusing I know but basically if the teams you played and beat are doing well, you will do better in rankings than someone who just rolls everyoe 200 - 0 even if you beat a team, they can still be ahead of you. That is why you can see someone with a O and D rank of 1 be in 4th place, because their O and D rank is based off of shit teams who can't score.

Script rankings are over rated in my opinion. The sim changes every season, tactics change every season, but the ranking script stays the same.

They are good talking points and discussion starters, nothing more.
