No offense to the Knights, but I think AWW can safely look ahead past this 10/30 game. The Knights have scored a total of 21 points in the regular season (28 including scrimmages), and AWW has yet to score less than 70 in a regular season game. The AWW are tied for #1 in the conference (by pure W/L), and the Knights are all alone at #16. I'd say that one's a lock.

I wish. The difference between the best teams/players and the worst should really be levellized a lot. As it stands, 95% of games are essentially over before they begin. The difference is somewhat closer in the pee wees, but as we've seen in this league, teams with a lot of CPU players are just unable to compete with 100% human teams.

Then they should make the CPU players better. The CPU player shouldn't be an automatic crap shoot. If you have a level 15 OG CPU and a level 8 OG Human,.,, the Human one is overall the better player

The Mountianeers edged out the Legends to consolidate their spot at #2 in the east. The Crusaders crushed the Patriots 110-0.

Aaaaaaand the Wraith Worshipers have cemented their place at the top of the PW Copper 14 West with a big win over the STARS tonight. Barney's Bullet whipped the snot out of the Patriots, and Horn Lake put *pow* to shame.

Once again we see a flaw with the ratings method: Even after a 21-6 victory over the STARS, the Wraith Worshipers only jump up to #4, while the STARS hold steady at #2. But over the next few games, that should really shake out, as AWW will be facing the tougher part of their schedule, and the STARS are coasting into the easy phase, with only the Purple Plainsmen standing between them and a 15-1 finish.

By the way, AWW is ranked below the STARS (even after the win) in both of the rating methods I devised, as well as the one in the GM script. So that tells you what rankings are worth.
