Only problem with this one is, when did you sign him? If signed on day 42 of last season the cash of course won't be as much as today.

What you pay your player is based on a couple of things....your scouting numbers which show your overall abilities, and your fame. The higher your fame and scouting numbers, the higher the max salary will be.

If you signed your guy to a D league team that won a championship....his fame will be somewhere in the 40s unlike the vast majority of Pee Wee players. Plus if you wait to sign the player as mentioned above, it will allow his scouting numbers to improve with all of the trainings, so you can give a higher max.

Then there is always the question of skill point assignment....did he assign his skill points? If so, his scouting numbers will be better, and therefore, he will be worth more money.

It is all quite simple when you break it down. Based on the fact that your player has 0 in fame, he wasn't signed to a winning D league team last season for the playoffs. Therefore, it must be late signing and/or skill point assignment that resulted in the high salary.

Center:

Center's are the most expensive because they can get the highest roll in any one attribute. Once you assign the skill points their contracts/bonuses will go up even more.
