Lone Star 3-0 vs Atlanta 3-0

Most expected He Hate Me and Short Bus in the 1st ever Gold league championship, but Lone Star and Atlanta had other Ideas. Atlanta served up revenge by beating Short Bus 17-0 and play some solid DF. Lone Star also played some solid DF holding He Hate Me to 9 points. Most expected Lone Star to lose early in the playoffs since they were the first team to really boost a lot of players. Most are expecting Atlanta who won a couple of organized tourneys to win but can Lone Star pull one more under dog win and beat Atlanta?
Lone Star had to beat Coastal, Department of Redundancy Department and He Hate Me to get here.
Atlanta had to beat Bengalfish, Insane Asylum and Short Bus to get here and only allowed 3 points in those 3 games.
The Final pick of season 11, Atlanta wins 24-10

Lone Star have proven that the difference in levels mean nothing if the right things are done to cause the upsets ...I believe that this is as even a contest as we could expect for a Gold League Championship ...to have the vote of confidence is nice, but it doesn't win AA the highest honor in peewee ...and this League Championship is by no means a foregone conclusion!

That was a seriously dominant performance.

Though AA out leveled the Mercs it looked as if they were a Minor League team just handing it to a peewee.

Great Job to you guys. No excuses here, you just absolutely outperformed us.
