Early in the season i still though wl was def better but close, not i think top 12 from each league is about the same. Bonn is only team head and shoulders above others this season. I guess will be a lot different next season when WL drops a ton of dead weight and gains 4-5 good teams. I'd say 3-4 teams moving up will make the playoffs. At least 3. WL is gonna be unreal stacked in season 13 depending on how people deal with decline

I don't think it is that close. There is not much depth in USPL. Top 9 and then it is a big dropoff. There is a big dropoff in World too, but in a top 9 matchup it is probably 6-3 for World.

Then again, something i think will become an increasing problem in WL are lots of teams halfway through the season partially gutting and bringing in slowbuilds since they know they'll probably be demoted. That's the only downside of the playoffs or go home thing. I still like it, but especially next year with decline, teams will probably just take their chemistry hit during the 2nd half of the season since they'll be demoted anyways.
I still think top 9 vs top 9 would be a bunch of coin flip games with the only exception probably being bonn. Next year it will obviously not be the case since even though there will be 2 less good usapl teams and 2-4 more good wl teams. Will be fun to watch wl continue to evolve and change

Not much different than real life as teams jockey for better draft position, try to save money, or just get rid of players they don't like once the season is over.
Of course, I'd also say that a lot of the teams just aren't used to the grind of having to gameplan every week or having a down season every now and then.
Sure the win or go home does affect what teams do, but personally I like it even if it does lead to more gutting.

I think someone mentioned that a limit on how many players can be cut/traded per day. I think that would be a great idea and would prevent teams from gutting mid season.
