Tallahassee, FL – The Las Vegas Super Bears are now 1 win away from finishing off an unblemished 16-0 regular season. Despite the chance to reach this milestone, the coaching staff and owners have all agreed to allow the teams supporting cast to take the field at the start of the game. That’s right, with the number one seed locked following last weeks win over the Wollongong Hippos and home field advantage secured, the Las Vegas Super Bears are resting their key starters for the final game of the season: ensuring a healthy starting lineup for the playoffs.

Adding to the stunning move, not only do the players who will be stepping back to allow their supporting cast take the snaps accept the move, but its also difficult to find anyone in Las Vegas that disagrees with the move. Many are willing to give up a lose at home to Fiji to allow for a rested roster in two weeks when the Las Vegas Super Bears take on the Aussie Slammers.

But, before you chalk up a loss to the Super Bears in week 16, you would do well to remember that this is a team which has a solid depth chart on its hands. With a quick glance over the full roster of this team, it is difficult to really spot any kinks in their armor.

With such an amazing year, it is difficult for anyone to complain about this move by the Super Bears. They played one game at a time, never looking to future games. By staying focused, the Super Bear’s have shown what a team working together for a combined goal and not individuals seeking personal fame can achieve.
