What is strange is that this might be the ONLY football game (besides soccer) where a safety DOESN'T result in some kind of FREE KICK. The NFL, CFL, EFL, College, Highschool, and Junior High football all have it. We B unique.

why not be really unique? let the safety count as 2 pts but allow the team with the ball to retain possession a the goal-line rather than do either a free kick or kick off. Could have three safeties on one drive! Then if you get a safety on 4th down then its a TD for the Def.
