Congratulations to the Warsaw Warriors on an undefeated season.

The playoffs are here and time to wipe the slate clean and throw the records out the window. It's show time.

Bratislava Lambeau Leapers vs Vienna Bulldogs 87-10. These 2 teams met on 5/19 with the Leapers winning 114-7. Beersy are you going to gameplan for this one or is the team staying in sleep mode? If they try this one will be a closer game.

Warsaw Warriors vs Zagreb Brutes 78-3. These 2 met on 5/19 with the Warriors winning 119-49. Don't expect the Brutes to light up the Warriors defense for 49 again. The Warriors have played some tougher games since then and their ai should be refined and ready for the playoffs.

***GOTW***

Allied Sack Exchange vs Constantinople Charioteers 27-30. These 2 met on 5/1 with ASE winning a great game 38-37. JB has been pretty quiet and not sure if he's putting in the time to give a full gameplan to this game or not. If he doesn't game plan ASE will lose by 14 at least. The Charioteers stop ASE at the end of the 4th quarter to win.

Sedlec Mortared Monks vs Don Cossacks 31-20. These 2 met on 5/11 with the Monks shutting out the Cossacks 42-0. Both teams have improved since then and played the Warriors very tough at the end of the season. The Monks outlevel the Cossacks which turns out to be just a little too much for them in the end. The Cossacks will be one of the teams to beat next season.

My guess is that the Cossacks won't try to abuse the pitch this time around. The Mortared Monks may have a "weakness" against the pitch, but it apparently wasn't a weakness against the Cossacks' brand of pitching. That alone will make it a closer game.

Any other weaknesses the Monks have that you could help the Leapers out with scouting?

Is this pitch a high or a low pitch that you speak of? I don't care much for the high pitch screams begging for mercy to stop running up the score.

Trying to bait the Cossacks into pitching?

Thank you, 4favre. I expect a similar game, with a similar score.

Now, if I could only sell some damn tickets to the game. I set my ticket prices at 2.9 and didn't sell a single effin ticket. I'm dropping the ticket price to 2.25 and see what happens... we may be playing that game in front of no one.

The Game between A.S.E. vs Constantinople is definitely the 1st round GOTW. The Charioteers are going to be out to avenge that 1 point loss. I expect another great game. The Monks need to be on upset alert when they play the Cossacks. Don't be taking the Cossacks lightly boys or you just might get surprised. What type of game plan will the Bulldogs pull out for the Leapers? It better be a much improved one then they had last time against the Leapers or they will get blown-out again. I expect the Warriors to tighten up on the Run-D against the Brutes. Scoobie and Shaggy are one of the best running back tandems in the league; maybe the #1 tandem. In the end I see the Warriors moving on to round 2 and the Brutes heading home dreaming of next season.

Anthony, maybe you should offer discounted beer to help boost sales of tickets.

What's your fan support at? Mine is 100/100/64 and I set mine at 2.6x and sold everything except 100 level corner which I only sold a couple hundred tickets of.

Mine is at 100/100/74. Maybe the 2.9 was just a little too high and I ended up selling nothing.

According to this link I should have set it to 2.5...

You guys are too funny. Everyone knows that the pitch is the area of the field between the wickets.

I may have to scale it back to 96% pitch after our game plan was unveiled on this thread

There were exactly zero good games in Alpha this week. One okay one in Zeta, otherwise they were all crap.

Krakow over Odessa didn't wet your whistle?

And an okay Zeta game is a crap Alpha game in any season. Yeah, I went there.

Congratulations to the Warriors, Charioteers, Leapers, and Monks on their first round victories. All 4 teams had decisive victories over their opponents. The next round looks like it could be very competitive.
