Very interesting week, with some games with the top teams. Not much movement, but some interesting results.
Western Conference
1. Carolina Guard: Were more than challenged, and barely squeaked by the Heroes. However, a win is a win, and this team proved that they are the #1 seed in the West.
2. PeeWee Villainous Heroes: Gave the Guard a great game, and lost by 1 TD. This team is better than everyone thought they were, and are the only other real threat to the Guard here.
3. Phoenix Blaze: They face the Stingrays next week to determine who is the #3 team in the playoffs.
4. San Diego Stingrays: They can score on anyone, but can they stop the Blaze's potent offense?
5. Tokyo Ichiban: Got back on track with its first really big win of the year.
6. Iron Men Of The South: Won as expected.
7. New York Nightmare: Murdered the Guppies, and will need to beat the Iron Men to control their own destiny.
8. Olympia Demigods: Are part of the 3 team battle for the 7 and 8 spot. They have very easy games coming up, and despite being a CPU team, might deny a worthy team of a playoff spot.
9. Channel Four News Team Smelly Pirate Hookers: A game against the Guard is NOT what they need if they want to make the playoffs. They will need one of the above 2 teams to lose, and then rely on tiebreakers.
10. San Antonio Punishers: Eliminated from the playoffs. Nice season.
11. Washington Renegades: Were also eliminated after giving up 98 points to the #4 team.
12. Mini Rats: They could have a spoiler role going into the Nightmare game.
13. Margaritaville Guppies: Stop getting shut out!
14. Steve McWhorters Nevis Sporting Ants of Nevis: Well, they could have lost by a lot more...
15. Los Angeles Speedsters: CPU
16. Levy Retards: Oh well.
Eastern Conference: Hmm, what to do here..
1. Chicopee Raiders: Won a great game against the Muddogs, and are should win the league now, at least in the regular season. This league's 1-6 teams are all very evenly matched.
2. Indianapolis Gasser's: Have been dominate against everyone except when the QB runs have been stopped, either by themselves, or the opponents. However, this is a team no one wants to face in the playoffs.
3. South Central Muddogs: Lost a very close game to the very good Raiders.
4. Gilbert Yellow Jackets: Can't move them up after their loss to the Muddogs, but they are a very good team.
5. U.S. Marshal's: Should be gameplanning for the Muddogs game. Can they beat them like they beat the Gassers?
6. PeeWee 69'ers: Loss to Cincinnati? They better hope that was a fluke, because their defense can't stop anyone right now. They need to righten the ship, ASAP.
7. Midland Midgets: Because of the 69'ers fall off Earth, they have a chance to move up if they beat the Falcons in 2 weeks.
8. Fairfield Falcons: I just realized they have no GM's. IMO, they add a GM, and they will be a team to be reckoned with. Unfortunately, I don't think they are searching for one.
9. Cincinnati Winged Devils: What at win! They will easily win their next 2 games, and have a will be at least tied for 8th place, coming down to tiebreakers! Great gameplanning from them.
10. Megalodon Pups: If they could gameplan, they could plan a major spoiler, and even sneak into the playoffs. However, they can't.
11. Warwick Wonderkids: Get to be slaughtered next week.
12. Hartford Helmcrackers: Yeah, lost.
13. THE RACE TRACK POCKET JOCKEYS: At least they're 5-9...
14. Amish Army: They get to get slaughtered the next 2 weeks to finish their year. Disappointing year.
15. Tecmo Super Bowlers: Ouch
16. Notre Dame Fight Irish : CPU
