Warrior General Games

I figured I'd get this out a little early for discussion.

Bratislava Lambeau Leapers vs Sedlec Mortared Monks 42-20. Some might think this will be the game of the week. Some also predicted at the beginning of the season that the Monks are #1. At the beginning of the season I predicted the leapers #1 and the Monks #2. The alpha conference could shape up to having a 3 way tie for first at 15-1 this season between the Leapers, Monks, and Warriors. The Monks are coming into this game with just over a 1 level per player advantage and an undefeated season going. After they visit the Frozen Tundra they'll be 10-1 and the Leapers go in sleep mode until the playoffs start.

Warsaw Warriors vs TV Sitcom All-Stars 255-0. This is the last game of cupcakes for the Warriors. Then it's off to finish the season with 5 straight games against playoff teams.

Istanbul Raging Bulls vs Krakow Buzzards 58-17. Da Bulls, play da cpu team. Boring!

St. Petersburg Locksmiths vs Sioux City Blackwolves 74-38. Surely the Locks cant lose to the Blackwolves can they?

Allied Sack Exchange vs Gdansk Donkey Punchers 248-0. Will ASE get Donkey Punched? I think not!

Zagreb Brutes vs Ufa Tycoons 203-0. Zagreb improves to 5-6 against the Tycoons who haven't spoken all season.

Constantinople Charioteers vs Lake Elsinore Tigers 191-0. The Charioteers get a few easy games in a row on their schedule.

***GOTW***

Don Cossacks vs Vienna Bulldogs 34-30. The Cossacks regroup and this is the first of 4 wins in a row. Vienna has a chance this game if they run the ball at least 70% of the time.

Yeah my RB is a beast...

Leapers-Monks should be your GOTW, but I understand not wanting to be a homer. I just can't understand why you would avoid being a homer there and still make that godawful pick.

I didn't pick the Leapers/Monks as the GOTW because I'm not sure the Monks can handle the pressure. "insert big grin smiley face" Against the 4 common playoff teams the Leapers outscored their opponents 332-39 and the Monks 193-88. That is a difference of 42 points per game. I would be shocked if that was the point difference in our game but numbers don't lie.

The Warriors will utterly destroy the TV Sitcom All-Stars and then we will start the "March of Death". It is our intention to go into that last game against the Monks undefeated and then we will give it every thing we have and let the chips fall where they may . Sure the Warriors are about to finish off the last "cupcake", but I would like to tell you that we had a couple of scrimmages against higher rated opponents to help sharpen us up a little. We may have gotten drubbed in those games but we gained some knowledge as well. Don't take us lightly or you might just wind up with egg on your face like the Leapers did in week #2 . The Leapers vs Monks is worthy of GOTW status. I know I'm not going to miss that tussle.

We accept that challenge. But seriously good luck to your team, 255 is a bit much I think, I'm projecting more around 180 and you guys will at least get a FG...maybe

Now Mr.Favre, as my colleague has so graciously stated we having not been sitting quietly going through the motions during our mid season stretch, we've been doing our homework and making our adjustments. Don't think for one minute that the Warriors are not prepared to for the closing stretch. We have not overlooked any team in that stretch and will do our best to maintain our perfection.

Hogzilla,

I can't speak for the other teams that played you but we didn't put in a gameplan. We ran the "blowout ai" 50% random 50% pass ai etc with a couple specific plays here and there. I'm sure most of the other teams did the same or just left the ai in from the game before. I think your game we also had our qb's playing on special teams so they would get max game xp.

To sum up if ac puts his punter at kr/pr he'll be doing the same type of stuff the rest of us did.


Pretty funny when we have the Leapers/Monks and Cossacks/Bulldogs matchups and the most discussion is about the TV Sitcom All-stars.

Sedlec was in an all-day group therapy session... something about high expectations and added anxiety.
