I've noticed on a couple teams that I've been apart of that two players with almost identical builds play very differently... one will play great and the other will play stupid.
We've even tested it with nearly identical players, same tactics, same plays, just one is better.
Has anyone else seen any examples of this? Please share.

While maybe not exactly what you're looking for, how about with kickers:

compared to my kicker

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=923730 note that my str was around 30 most of the season. I softcapped str before game 17.

Strictly speaking compare the top two kickers performance from 40-49 to mine.

gotta factor in other little things like the team around him, team morale, and in some cases their opponents

tons of variables that could make the difference

Agreed. It still seems strange for the huge difference in 40-49 1/9 vs 16/17 with essentially the same builds. If those variables have that large an effect, is there a reason to bother with attributes?

seems like there are other factors at work... with your kicker and others that make them not play as well. this is a good example of what i'm talking about though.
anyone else notice this with their players?
or can confirm the existence of unknown factors?
