Probably what should be the conference showdown game comes a bit early. The last time these two teams played Phoenix won 38-14. But since then Wagner's Meat went on a rampage, trashing every other team they played. And since that week 7 game, they've allowed only 10 points of total offense against them. All 10 of which came from the "Team Formerly Known as the Boise Towers". I expect this game to be very close, but, without any of Wagner's players boosting, I don't see them coming out of the this with a W. Victory goes to the Ducks. Final score, 35 - 21.

The last time these two teams played, it was a very close game. 17 to 13, in the Boats N Hoes favor. Since that time, the Mountain-Men's offense has seemed to step it up, and recently their defense has been showing up when it matters. Conversely, the Boats N Hoes offense is one of the fiercest in the west, but their defense seems to be wearing out. I like for the Mountain-Men to win this one very barely, possibly even in overtime. Final score, 24-21.

We hope to keep it as close as you have predicted. I think you're giving us too much credit here. Keeping it within 2 scores would be a decent outcome in my books.

Mountain-Men should take Boats N Hoes as well. Score looks pretty reasonable on that one.

I hope not, I think we can win that game. But I'd like to avoid it, I'd much rather play the high powered Boats N Hoes and let my defense lock em down. Than to pit two very similar defenses up against each other and have the game be within 3 the whole time.
